~Aislinn~

A cold air drifted through the room, and the pink blanket in my hand seem to be the only thing giving me comfort at this moment.

Knox settle into his seat, the boys still staring at him in shock that he was here. Now I could only think about what might Dorian feel, he was already hard enough to read so I can't imagine what he might feel to find out his brother is alive.

"Enough with the sob stories," Axel spoke up, he held his gun straight to Knox's head but Knox didn't move an inch. Instead, he grinned.

"My nephew and her boyfriend are out there and you said you have information. Every minute we let go by they could end up in danger," Axle's words made me shudder, the thought of someone hurting them, I love them both so much to suffer that amount of pain.

Knox shook his head, that grin leaving his lips and his lips thinned.

"Do you know who took them?" I asked finding my voice, sighing I felt exhausted.

"Yes, but you need to understand what you all are up against," Knox's voice didn't hold that playful tone anymore, his voice held something dark just like Dorians.

"Someone wants to be on the top, wipe out all families, and just have one mafia. He has them, but not just to wipe the families out, for one purpose," I frown at his words, trying to think who the hell would try something like that.

it's suicidal.

"Who is he?" I asked, his blue eyes the same one he shared with the man I love and our son.

"Did you ever think who is behind everything?  who took us, why did everything play out how it did?" he was beating around the bush and it only made me grow annoyed.

He noticed and cleared his throat looking at me and my brothers.

"Your uncle has them, Issac brother. Let's just say the death of his brother drove him mad only for him to think he could win a war," A chill went up my spine at the mention of Issac's name, being in this house...

"Where,"

It was the only thing I wanted to know, they had been gone for several hours still I was gone for several hours and I know time feels like infinity there.

"Daddy?"

I blink slowly, Jaxon's eyes filled with concern as he stood in front of me. Tear-stained cheeks and glossy eyes, I wasn't sure how much time passed, no one came in and I was feeling weak.

I was still chained up, it dug into my wrist hard enough to leave marks. Jaxon stayed near me, he tried hard not to show it but he was scared, every little noise that came from behind that door made him jump.

The door opened, and Jaxon went behind me shielding himself from whoever walked into this shit hole.

Lazy eyes drifted up and my eyes went cold and narrow.

"It's odd to see the 'mad king' at his knees," the man sent words my way, if I was a pussy, just looking at him would make me squirm away but, I wasn't this man in front of me was a coward.

"I don't usually get on my knees unless I'm pleasing my woman, something I'm gonna do once I kill you all," I try to use the right choice of words knowing Jaxon was in this room, he held a tight grip on my shirt.

He chuckled, taking a slow step into the light letting me see the burns across his face better. I felt his hands tug on my hair making me look up at him, getting a nice view of what my girl did to his face when she set that fire.

"Nice to see you try," He grinned, something unpleasant about him making my stomach twist.

"What do you want?" I asked, he tipped my head back, and I grinned my teeth at the pain while he tugged at my hair.

"I want a lot of things, I want you dead, and your pretty little girlfriend by my side where she belongs," the words made my blood rush.

A lot of people want Aislinn, but she was mine. The mother of my children, my wife, and the love of my life. I won't let her go so lightly.

"But," he took a knife out of the waistband of his suit pants, "Let me handle this little rat first,"

I fought in my restraints as he pulled Jaxon from behind me, a knife at his throat making my skin rattle with anger.

Jaxon's screams were something I never wanted to hear, just the sound remind me of all those years ago, losing my brother.

"Hurt him, and I will rip you apart with my bare hands,"  I gritted, tears streaming in Jaxon's eyes while he kicked at the man's grip.

My chest caved, anger filling my bone almost rattling them. "Daddy!"

Jaxon bit him, I watched the pain all in his face he gripped Jaxon by his shirt, throwing him against the wall. My heart pounded against my chest, I pulled on my chains, blood dripping from my wrist as they dug into them.

My son's limp body fell to the floor, not moving. Wide-eyed rage consumed me, he laughed as if something snapped in me, I couldn't contain myself anymore.

"Boss?" Another one of his men walked into the room, darting his eyes back at me and my son on the floor before backing away slowly.

"Get the boy," he picked up Jaxon, making me shift forward with a grunt, the burnt bastard had the nerve to smile but drifted away at the loud crash.

The bastard ran out of the room with Jaxon, I gritted watching the burnt man back away from the room. I sighed, suppressing the anger before dislocated. A yell came from the back of my throat hearing the crack, before slipping my hand out.

Fuck, the lights shut down, and I could hear gunfire and screams. Pitch black after releasing myself from the chains, I walked into the hall, rapid gunfire coming from the front of this house.

The lights flickered on and off, and the first man I came in contact with was the man who took my son.

"How did you-"

"Where's my son?" I gritted, my hand wrapping around his throat, twisting it further than where it should be.

"I-I don't know, someone t-took him," he gritted but his words only pissed me off more than I already was. Getting nothing out of him, just for the fun of it, I twisted more until I heard a crack.

A flick of light switched inside of me, my heart pounded a little faster and I recognize the old friend in the back of my head.

The mad king.
