Adrien shook his head, sitting on his golden thrown. Why were he doing this again? Oh yeah, because he was forced to. He frowned, leaning back into his seat as another beautiful Lady stood in front of him.
He stayed silent as they declared their ever so dying passion and love for him. But he knew that it was all scripted, that their guardians just wanted them to marry him for more riches and more power.
And he had to sit through this to keep up his family's image, as the well kept, polite, admirable Prince Charming.
Mademoiselle, Natalie, stood behind him in one of the many sitting rooms they had in the huge palace.
"Your Highness, when I look at you all I feel is delight, when I hear you speak I get butterflies and your kindness, when you went personally to the medical center to tell stories to the sick children! It was all the more, just so, selfless!" The Lady blushed.

Adrien stood up and walked over to her, leaning down a bit to grab her small hand in his and placed a soft kiss on it. She let out a slight squeal, and Adrien could hear the other ladies in line groaning a bit.
The blond then looks up at her and flashed her his fake smile which he gave everyone. "I hope to see you again, lady Lila Rossi" Adrien smirks to himself standing straight up and turning around but only felt a tug at his hand.
Lila had tightened her grip on his hand and wouldn't let go. He let out a chuckle, a bit annoyed as this was the 6th time this had happened today.
He looked down at their hands and Lila quickly let go. "You too, your highness." She curtsied and made her way out of the room.
Adrien sat back on his thrown as yet another lady stood before him. Yep, this was how it was. He had to say that same exact line but in a different way to make it sound like they were going to get chosen or that they were special.
As if it wasn't bad enough, this happened almost every morning. Making his schedule all the more packed as it was.
He didn't even have time to hang out with his friends, Nino and Kim this summer. It was just work, and work, and then work. But finally his Father had decided to let him go to university.
