Marinette grabbed the hem line of her skirt pulling it down. If she were going to wear this to school then it needed to be at least to her knees. She turned to the mirror to look at her uniform. She wore a plain white polo with a red tie and a box pleat red low waisted skirt. With high socks that reached right beneath her knees she paired it with some dockside brown shoes.

It was Sunday, she had spent the last two days going back and forth to the university building. which wasn't far from where she lived. She studied the building, where the classes were or how it worked. she knew that they would explain these details on her first day but Marinette was a self learner, meaning she liked to learn things on her own, in her way. She also leaned that the university excepted scholarships. Not that Marinette needed it or would have gotten enrolled with a scholarship because she simply didn't have one. Home schoolers aren't offered those qualities, that was just how the school system worked. She also found out that the university had dorms but her parents couldn't afford for her to stay in one so she would come straight home after school. She didn't mind, it was actually better. Plus, it was too late to get a dorm. Students had already signed up by now and moved in to prepare for tomorrow.

But she was ecstatic about the information, this had meant that there would probably be some normals. Some people of her kind, who were down to earth and would understand her views in general. when she found out that information, then she could finally see the upside of her changing life. There was a possibility, hope that she would fit in, and not be such an outcast. If she still were to become an outcast then at least there would be others along with her. It sounded selfish, she knew but she couldn't help the selfish feeling.

Marinette didn't want to stand out, thats the last thing she wanted to do. She wanted to blend in with the background, you know, be the normals. If that were to go the wrong rout than Marinette would for sure throw herself off a cliff. You could say she was being dramatic, hell she knew she were being dramatic but she just couldn't help it.

Marinette averted back to reality, looking at herself in the mirror. She tilted her head to the side, at least she wouldn't get picked on for not wearing the latest fashion, because they'll all be wearing the same thing. The bluenette let out a laugh, she hooked her fingers under the hem of her shirt, and pulled it off.

Adrien sucked air in through his teeth, his chest falling. He stood in front of the huge mirror, he dug his hands into the thin fabric of his uniform pockets. He couldn't believe it, he was actually going to university as a sophomore. Adrien Agreste was actually going to school, who would have thought?

The blond made his way over to his alaskan king bed, he sat down. Adrien never felt like his bed was actually a bed. It was huge, cold, he couldn't fill in the empty spaces. when he slept, he would sleep on one side if he were to roll over, he would roll onto ice, it felt like.

His room was cold, but it was homeliest place he found some sort of comfort, in all of the palace. Adrien leaned toward the bed until his back was in contact. He placed his arms above his head as he stared up at the ceiling that looked so high up.

He had a bit of nervousness but his joyfulness had overcome that feeling. This was the opportunity to learn new things, make more friends, meet different kinds of people. Not to mention he practiced speaking like the teenagers his age.

He was impressed with how he changed his wordings to sound more.. you can say, carefree. He practiced switching his words up. He thought he had done good, so good that he suggested to his father that he could have at least a chocolate filled croissant. But of course his father denied him of his joy and satisfaction.
