It took about 30 minutes to get to the location Toshinori was supposedly held at. You recognized the area, that it was under the control of another fixer, Mirko. You've never done a job for her but you've heard she's tough as nails.

The car slowly lurched forward as you rolled your windows down and turned the radio down as well so you could see better. Why? I don't know.
The single apartment was between a ramen shop and a bar, just like Hawks said in his message. It's easy to miss if you're not looking hard enough. The bright advertisements for both shops were overwhelming compared to the single, gray door that stood there plainly.

You parked the car in front of the ramen shop and surveilled the area before you got out. The ramen shop seemed to be pretty busy, it was lunchtime after all. Your stomach growled and you thought about all the different types of ramen that exists, you were definitely gonna have to grab food later after this job was over.

Scanning your eyes towards the bar, in front of the door you noticed a man who was incredibly drunk, being interrogated by a Night City Policeman. Next to the policeman was one of the newest additions to the Night City Police Department, an AI Assistance Robot. These were becoming quite popular among Night City, they were versatile, quick, non-lethal, but more importantly, they were intimidating as hell.

Not much later the drunken man tried to run away in a panic, but didn't get very far because the AI crawled, like a spider, towards its prey before launching itself onto the drunken mans back, knocking him onto the ground prone

Not much later the drunken man tried to run away in a panic, but didn't get very far because the AI crawled, like a spider, towards its prey before launching itself onto the drunken mans back, knocking him onto the ground prone. The police officer caught up to them, arresting the man before walking off. You thought the coast was clear to move but you couldn't shake the feeling you were being watched. Looking back down the sidewalk, the AI robot stood still, staring at you.

It felt like minutes, but eventually the AI turned around and continued its patrol.

What the hell? You thought to yourself, it wasn't like you couldn't destroy the hell out of some shitty police robot but damn, that was weird.

Ignoring what just happened and shaking your head, after seeing nothing else suspicious, you left the car and approached the gray door.
You knocked the secret code before you heard a click and the door open, revealing a much older woman. She was short and stout with a very kind face, and wore a dress that was light blue.

She ushered you in and closed the door swiftly, locking the door behind her.

"Don't forget to take your shoes off before you come in, dear," she said, shuffling past you through the hallway.

You did as you were told because you didn't want to be rude of course. Then you followed her into the kitchen, noticing a table and four chairs on the left near the window. The older woman rushed back to the stove on the right side of the room, hurriedly stirring, while an overly skinny man with disheveled blonde hair finished setting the table.

"Hawks sent me." You said, being the first to speak.

"Ah, you must be y/n!" The man said, greeting you with a low voice.
"I am Toshinori, and this is Chiyo. She's been kind enough to let me stay here."
