The first class of the day was Ancient Greek. And Annabeth was glad for that.

She had been homeschooled almost all her life by her mother before she became famous and then, was homeschooled by her tutor, Apollo, who was annoying but always cheered up Annabeth, keeping her away from depression. Apollo and Athena were, in a way, siblings.

But they hadn't grown up together making their relationship a tad bit complicated.

The door to the class was closed. Annabeth knocked. An elderly voice spoke up, followed by an echo of laughter that blurred his words. The door opened and Annabeth found herself facing a raven-haired boy. He had sea-green eyes that looked like the calm before the oncoming storm. But that wasn't what Annabeth was looking at. Oh, no!

"You've got drool on your face," Annabeth said, keeping her face straight. The kids in the class started laughing again as the boy dumbly wiped it off.

He gave her way to come in and bowed formally, "After you, my lady."

Something about his action amazed Annabeth but she didn't show it. She was pretty sure this wasn't how students were supposed to be in high school.

"Aw, such a gentleman," Annabeth deadpanned and walked in without any further ado.

Thanfully, the teacher, who was sitting on a wheelchair, didn't make Annabeth do an introduction of herself in front of everyone and after introducing himself as Chiron, let her grab a seat after just taking the slip from the principal.

Annabeth sat beside Thalia, finding it the only good seat to sit on, seeing as the other empty seat was beside a random stranger.

"Where were you for the past two periods!?" Thalia inquired as soon as Annabeth sat down.

"Your principal is weird. She gave me a huge speech about school ruled and clubs and that stuff," Annabeth answered.

"I know, Annabeth, I know," Thalia nodded, sympathically.

From across the room, Jason turned and winked at her. Beside him sat the raven-haired boy who had greeted Annabeth by the door.

"Who's that guy?" Annabeth asked, pointing at the boy.

"Oh, that's Kelp-Head," Thalia explained, rolling her eyes for some reason. "Also known as Percy which is short for Perseus Jackson. He's very annoying, you know. So annoying that you want to bash his head in."

This time, Annabeth rolled her eyes. She would've said more had Chiron not started explaining about 'The Greek Gods' to everyone.

Chiron's class was amazing. The rest of them, yes, but not as much interesting. The boy - Percy Jackson - was in most of Annabeth's classes except Architecture, a subject which her mother had persuaded her to attend despite her already high knowledge in the subject.

Hazel and Frank were freshmen while Jason, Leo, Piper, and Shel were sophomores.

And like she had said, Thalia - being a senior - wasn't in any of her other classes either because of which Annabeth was stuck as the lonely junior.

Only Percy had stuck along. Ugh. And Clarrise. Clarrise appeared to have been born with 'I hate Percy Jackson' written on her fate. She wanted to make his life as difficult as possible but the kid wasn't giving up either. He would come up with comebacks and sarcasm had found a beautiful way of dripping from him with no end.

During maths period, Annabeth made a new friend, or at least she thought she did.

Rachel Elizabeth Dare.

Her clothes had splotches of paint on them. She was unconsciously drawing doodles on her sheet. Annabeth noticed beautiful sketches peering out of one of her books. "Those are pretty nice," Annabeth commented as she couldn't help but look over. Rachel raised her eyebrow, "And you are?"

"Annabeth Chase," Annabeth smirked.

Rachel smiled at the doodles, which in itself appeared to be pieces of art. "I am glad you like them."

"No, it's just-" Annabeth took Rachel's pencil and added a few more lines to them. "I don't know much about drawing or sketching but I know that the angel of those shades mustn't be the way they were."

Rachel nodded, smiling innocently. Annabeth, realizing she had touched someone else's painting without their permission, moved back and bit her teeth. "Um... sorry, I just don't like it when things are messed up."

"Neither do I," She replied and turned to the blond-haired superstar. "Rachel Elizabeth Dare."

They didn't talk much during class but the bell rang and after wishing Rachel a goodbye with a promise to see her again, Annabeth rummaged her way to the cafeteria. Somewhere along the long corridors crowded with students, she got lost.

"I knew I should've accepted the school tour," she muttered under the breath before turning her head left and right to see if anyone she knew personally was there. Lost in her own thoughts, she didn't notice as someone ran into her, making them both drop on the floor.

"Sorry, I'm so, so sorry," the other male muttered under his breath as he scrambled up, extending his hand. Annabeth took it immediately and stood up, blinking as she got her first good look at the boy-who-drooled.

Annabeth could've recognized him anywhere. "Percy Jackson."

The boy grinned immediately, "I remember you."

"So do I."

They stared at each other. Annabeth pulled back immediately as she realized how close they were standing.

"What are you doing here, Annabeth?" inquired Percy. Oh, he was crossing a line being this cute.

Annabeth raised an eyebrow. "Ah, I was just lost. Couldn't find my way to the Cafeteria. So what?"

"I could help you out," Percy shrugged. "If you are okay with it, of course."

Annabeth would've denied but altered her choice of words as she faced the fact that she could never reach there in time. An empty stomach did no good either. "Okay," she decided. "Lead the way, Perseus."

"It's Percy," Percy corrected as he started walking. He grinned wider. "Annabeth Chastity, am I right?"

Annabeth halted, flinching. She scrunched up her eyebrows as she glared at the raven-black-haired boy. "Are you trying to annoy me, Jackson?"

Percy bit his lips as he looked back, horrified at her reaction. "It's not Chastity, is it?"

"Wot. An. Idiot."

I know I am not doing many (more like any) Percy POVs but please have patience. There is a deadly sirius reason behind this.

I suddenly wanted to write a one shot about percy and annabeth finding out about Jason but then got the idea of killing Jason off in my 'Cliché' book and now, I can't stop thinking about it.

What do you think?
