Percy liked Annabeth. She was smart, fierce, and knew how to keep people in check. She often burst into rants about architecture and even if Percy never understood, he listened; mostly, he gawked at her.

As the leaves on trees began to turn a beautiful red, green, and yellow with autumn arriving, Percy began to love every single opportunity he got to spend with his friends.

But that week, miraculous things happened.

"You can just ask the Gennie for infinite wishes," Leo shrugged casually.

"No! You cannot just ask the Gennie for infinite wishes!" Annabeth retorted, her eyes scrunched as if mocking him for even thinking that way. All heads turned towards the source of the yell.

"Why not?" Leo frowned.

"Well, infinity aside, asking for more wishes than the said three wishes is a violation!" Annabeth exclaimed, throwing her hands in the air.

"But... but... But the Gennie is not killing anyone," Frank piped in. "He's not making anyone fall in love with anyone nor is he bringing anyone back from the dead!"

"But more wishes would defeat the whole purpose of three wishes!" Annabeth groaned, then brightened up again. Percy continued adding more syrup to his pancakes.

Safely. As Annabeth wasn't looking.

"Okay, let us assume that you do get infinite wishes... If you assume finite power for a wish, it could only empower a new wish, or multiple new wishes adding up in strength to the original. Infinite wishes would be infinitely weak, and, so, useless. No, you cannot get infinite wishes. Als-"

"Okay, I am going to stop you before this gets out of hand," Shel walked in, a forced smile on her face. Everyone sighed, except Percy. She grabbed a seat beside Piper and gave her a kiss. Jason had already moved on and showed no reaction.

Shel clapped her hands, attracting the attention of everyone around the table.

"So, I just wanted to let you know that my birthday is in a week," Shel said.

Everyone broke into a chorus of 'happy birthday, shel' and Piper aww-ed at the blush spreading on Shel's face.

"As I was saying, my birthday's coming up and I wanted to give you all a private invitation to a sleepover party over at my house," Shel said. "I'm inviting you all over and I hope that you will be there. We are gonna be up all night!"
