Her new room looked as though it had been kept untouched. Yes, it was clean, but it looked the same way it had looked when they had originally moved out. She walked inside, her friends in tow, and opened the wardrobe. It was empty. So... they had touched a few of her stuff.
She took a deep breath and turned, "Thank you so much for being here, guys!"
Piper scoffed, "Don't. It was this or being murdered by Thalia's hands."
Annabeth laughed while Hazel shook her head sadly.
"Come on! Chop. Chop. Annabeth needs to freshen up. She's tired and you guys need to be home by two. Go!" Thalia said, glaring at Piper, eventually smirking.
They left and Annabeth went back to packing everything.
She woke up the next morning to the sound of her alarm clock, which read 6:00, feeling fresher than she had felt for a long time. She freshened up and walked into her bedroom, finding Thalia on her bed much to her surprise.
"You're late, Annie," Thalia teased. Annabeth flinched at the sound of her rock-star name. "Two. Minutes. Late."
Annabeth sighed and jumped on the bed, "And you need to learn to knock, Thals."
Thalia smirked, "Knock. Knock."
"Who's there?"
"Thalia. Can I come in?"
"Pinecone Face."
It was an inside joke. And Annabeth knew how much Thalia hated the nickname. But suddenly the door was pushed, and a blond boy leaned on the door. "Can I come i- HOLY HERA!" Jason yelled as soon as he looked at Annabeth, who also shrieked, shocked.
He walked outside and banged the door shut. Thalia burst out laughing. Meanwhile, Annabeth ransacked her suitcase for a T-Shirt, her face as red as a cherry. "What the hell were you thinking, Jason Grace!?!" She yelled, as she finally found one.
"WHY ARE YOU NAKED?"
"I- I wasn't naked," Annabeth paused for a second before wearing her T-Shirt, quickly. "I was wearing some clothing."
"Oh, yeah!" Jason said sarcastically before yelling again, "Why in Hades' Underpants is Thalia in there!?"
"We have known each other since we were three, dumbass," Thalia yelled back through laughter before Annabeth could as much as open her mouth.
"Oh gods, I'm scarred for life..."
Annabeth shook her head, laughing, as she tied her hair. "Come on in!" She called out to Jason.
"You sure?" Jason asked, not sure.
Thalia snorted, "You either walk in here or I come out and beat you into a pulp."
Jason opened the door slowly and after glancing around the room for naked girls, walked in with a smile. He made a face at Thalia - who returned it - before pulling Annabeth into a hug.
'It's been long, eh?" Jason said in a horrible British accent. A long while ago, Annabeth had visited London and had come out with a British accent. Only a fool would think that kids like Jason would let it go that easily.
"Yes, it has been," Annabeth smiled back. "How's life treating you as a single boy?"
"You know?"
When she nodded, Jason frowned at her, "Stop teasing me."
"Jason," Annabeth shook her head. "How many times have I asked you not to tease me?"
"Many times," Jason answered unsure where this was going.
