Chapter 19: Thalia Gets Caught Up

An: Originally this was going to be part of the prior chapter but I split it up as it was getting longer than I was comfortable with for a chapter

Percy's POV:

AN: Here starts Thalia being caught up with the happenings of when she was a tree TLDR; at the bottom.

"Well Chiron had me tend to said demigod and when he woke up I went to tell Chiron. However Lady Artemis was in his office, and she was mad to put it lightly, as she was asking for some boy to be tortured to death."

"Doesn't surprise me from her" Thalia mumbled

"Well after informing them and apologizing for interrupting, I went back to the infirmary to find my patient missing" Annabeth said with a light glare to me. "So I went to go look for him, and on my way out, I saw Luke with multiple arrow wounds being worked on by Apollo's children"

"The hunter's" Thalia asked

"Yup" Annabeth said popping the 'p', "well in my search for my missing patient I found him walking out of Lady Artemis's cabin alive, and without any arrow wounds, so I like the rest of the camp was in shock. Then to top it all off Lady Artemis claims him, and calls him son" Annabeth said

"wait" Thalia said turning to look at me in the eyes, " She really adopted you" Thalia asked

"Blood adopted, so I'm technically actually her child now, and she raised me" I answered

"Still don't believe it" Thalia said

"believe it sister he was banned from the underworld when he went to train with the fallen hunters...they drove Elysium into chaos and nearly destroyed all order in the underworld" Perseus said with a shiver from the memories.

"That's more believable than Artemis adopting a male child" Thalia said casually, "but back to the story"

"So Artemis claims him, and as it turns out Luke and his quest mates, knocked him out to kidnap him, after he saved their dumb butts as they were surrounded by monsters. That lead to a whole other slew of problems, like the camp being set on fire that night, surprisingly the only cabin not touched by flames was Artemis's and her hunters helped put out the fires." Annabeth said and Thalia looked shocked, "Sometime during the winter solstice meeting your dad's weapon was stolen, and a son of Poseidon was blamed, but now nearly everyone is pretty certain he lacks the skills or ability to have done so. Anyways the day after he was claimed, a prophecy was issued which pretty much directly called for Artemis's adopted son, and he said he's not going without me because I was his only friend from my mother's cabin which the prophecy also called for."

"How was your first quest" Thalia asked

"Insightful, successful, and I learned a lot" Annabeth answered "Anyways Percy and I practically duo the quest while struggling to keep Poseidon's spawn alive"

"I shot the son of Poseidon, though I was trying to kill him, but medusa being around complicated my aim" I mumbled, which got a laugh from Thalia

"Anyways, Percy killed two furies and I killed one" Annabeth stated

"You took care of Tisiphone and I took care of Megaera and Alecto" I interjected, much to Thalia's distaste this time.

"then Percy beheaded Medusa" Annabeth said

"Just like your favorite teacher" Perseus boasted, I was going to interject and tell him mom was my favorite teacher, but I'm going to let him have his moment, as Thalia shocked him, "your temper is worse than father's" Perseus mumbled

"Then we found a lost dog that allowed us to return him to his owners on the condition that Poseidon's son said hi" Annabeth said which got another laugh from Thalia, "So we used the reward money to get tickets as far west as we could go, and we had a layover in St. Louis"
