2 ~ Shut up

'Hurry up.' Grace smiled while you headed into the carriage with Draco.

Peter and Grace were still stuck together. It was nice to see Grace happy. The carriage slowly started moving.

You were excited to go back.. but also a little nervous. You hadnt had a proper education in over a year. What if you had forgotten everything?

You were most excited about potions. It wsd your favourite subject and you couldn't wait to finish it. You wondered what,was left of the castle after everything and if it had been rebuild.

'Right, Y/N?'

You looked at Grace.

'Sorry, what?'

She laughed.

'See. In her own world. I told you.

You looked to your side and saw Draco. He was staring at the surroundings. Something seemed to be on his mind.

'Are you okay?'

Draco looked at you with a subtle smile.

'Of course.'

The carriage steadily headed towards Hogwarts. The castle was already partly build up but some parts were still inaccessible. It was amazing to be back.

Grace grabbed your arm and pulled you out of the carriage. She swung her arm around you.

'Just know that purely because I'm dating Peter, doesn't mean we won't hang out anymore.'

You laughed and wrapped your arm around her too.

'I know. Don't worry. You're still my bestie.'

You headed into the castle. Everyone was chatting and excited. All you were was nervous. Your grou was far ahead of you. You were sucked into your own world, unsure of what was going to happen. Anything could happen this year.

You headed into the great hall and walked towards your house table. You saw Grace sitting next to Peter. Astoria passed you and stopped next to Draco.

'Mind if I sit here?' She asked.

Draco looked at her. A kind of discomfort seemed to cross him again. Draco then looked at you.

'Actually, Y/N was just about to sit here.'

Draco's eyes were almost begging you to say yes. She looked at you and you smiled at her.

'I asked him to save me a seat. Sorry.'

'Alright. Maybe later then.' She said before walking away.

You saw him sigh in relief while you sat down besides him.

'Why so uptight?' You asked him. 'She's 2 years younger. Why are you that uncomfortable around her?'

'Its nothing. Just dont want to be friends with her.'

Peter passed him a look but he didn't say anything. That made this even more suspicious.

'Goodevening students.'

You looked at the front and saw McGonagall. You were curious about what was going to be said.

'Welcome back to or welcome to Hogwarts. As we all have experienced, we have all been through some rough times. The wizarding war has officially come to an end. We are all pleased to see your brave and lovely faces.'

She was still the same kind sould she had always been.

'Some of you have made mistakes, some of you have fought bravely, some of you lost a lot of important people.. but let's all stand together. Let's reunite all the houses and students. Let's be stronger then we ever were.'

She was a total inspiration. She was staying strong althought she was having a tough time with all the stuff that happened.

'But before I will lay out the new rules, I would like to hold a 1 minute silence for all of our fallen.'

No one said anything. The great hall grew completely silent. Some people shed a few tears.. but you just felt.. watched?

You turned your head and caught Draco looking away from you. There was something up with him. You had no idea what it was.

You focused back at the front. The minute was almost over. It was beautiful to see how everyone respected it.

'Thank you all. Here are some of the new rules. For this year only, all common rooms will be accessible by all students to encourage bonding between houses.'

That was an interesting twist. It was going to be chaotic but also fun.

'We still will not stand for bullying. Every student that's back here today, deserves another chance. Even those who made mistakes. This year will be all about bonding.'

'Y/N.' Draco whispered at you.

You looked at him. He signed towards Grace and Peter. There weren't busy with the ceremony at all. Grace was too busy exploring his mouth. Draco tried his best not to wheeze at the face you made. He almost choked on the sip he took of his drink.

'What?' You asked him softly.

'You cannot hide your thoughts well. Your face tells stories.'

'Now, off to bed.'

You got up and headed to the common room. Grace and Peter didn't seem to notice anything that was going on. You tapped Grace on her shoulder while leaving.

'Your face was absolute gold. I almost died.'

'Shut up.' You grinned.
