'There we go.'

Draco put down a bunch of books that might have some useful information.

'Strong man.' You joked.

'I could lift you if I wanted to.' He laughed.

Draco sat down besides you and you both grabbed a book.

'Who's going to write?' Draco asked.

'How bad is your handwriting?' You asked him.

'Bold of you to assume my handwriting sucks.'

You laughed and grabbed a piece of parchment. You wrote down his name on it and showed it to him. Draco write his own name under it.

'Not too bad.' You said.

'You write then.' He grinned.

You both opened your books and started reading. You had no idea what would be important to write down and discuss.

You looked up at Draco for a moment. He was just sitting there, reading. His eyes scanning the pages. He looked incredibly focused. You realised you were staring so you looked back at your book.

'Listen to this.' Draco said.

You looked at him.

'Arguably the most potent truth serum in the world, Veritaserum is a substance strictly controlled by the Ministry of Magic. Three drops is said to induce the drinker to spill even the darkest and most well-guarded secrets.'

Draco pointed out the piece of text. You wrote down the book title and page number.

'It makes a good introduction. If we can find some more.'

'Deinitely.' Draco said.

Draco looked at you while you continued reading.

'You seemed to be very excited for potions.'

You looked up at him.

'Yes. I love potions. I want to be a potioneer.' You smiled. 'Do you like potions?'

'I am actually studying alchemy right now.'

Alchemy was something you had always wanted to study. You missed your opportunity to enroll in the class during your sixth year.

'Are you in the class?' You asked.

'I'm not unfortunately. I messed up my entire sixth year. So I'm studying it all on my own.'

'I'm obsessed. Could you teach me?'

'Maybe. Maybe not.'

You rolled your eyes with a smile and continued reading. You were just trying to find something interesting.

'It is most effective when used on one who is unaware and unprepared to attempt resistance. Despite its efficacy, Veritaserum is not used to coerce confessions of guilt or innocence in trial as it is considered to be unreliable and unfair - much the same as Muggle Polygraph test results.'

You immediately wrote down the book details. Draco yawned for a moment and stretched.

'Already bored?' You asked.

'We have been here for quite awhile.'

You sat back in your chair and looked around. A lot of people were studying. You saw Astoria sitting at a table with her friends. She smiled and waved. Clearly looking at Draco. You looked at him and saw the discomfort I'm his face.

'Whats the deal with you and her? You get really uncomfortable around her.'

'She likes me but I dont like her. She is too young.' Was all he said.

You felt like he was holding information back.. but you didn't know him good enough to even ask. Maybe later.

'Your last name is familiar. Who are your parents?' Draco asked.

'Y/M/N and Y/F/N Y/L.' You said.

Draco looked at you but didn't say anything.

'Tell me something about yourself.' Draco said.

'Well, there is nothing much to tell. I grew up near London, haven't really been that involved in the war. I have always been in slytherin. I just didn't interfere much with the whole Harry Potter scene. That's probably why no one knows me.'

'Any hobbies?'

'I like reading, potions, I love nature and going outdoors. I also like discovering new things.'

'Discovering new things that aren't adult parties.' He laughed.

You sighed and rolled your eyes.

'I discovered it, it just wasn't my thing.' You said.

'Everyone saw that.'

'Shut up and continue reading.' You grinned.

Was he just going to keep bringing that up? He really liked to use it against you, didn't he? Well it was almost the only thing he knew about you.

'Dont you have any hobbies?'

'Like I said, alchemy.. and unlike you I do like to party.' He said with a cocky smirk.

You looked at him.

'How many?' You asked.

'How many what?'

'Girls.'

Draco grinned and shook his head.

'This summer or since I start.'

He laughed when he saw your eyes widen.

'I'm kidding.' He laughed. 'You should've seen your face.'

You closed your book and softly slapped him with it. Draco grabbed it out of your hands and pushed it away. He turned to you.

'You are.. way to curious. You don't have to know that. You're too innocent.'

'How would you know. That's bold of you to assume.'

Draco sat back, crossed his arms and raised his brows.

'How many guys have you even kissed?'

'Like 1.' You said.

'Was it a tongue kiss?'

You didn't say anything. Draco grinned and gave you a pat on the head. You swatted his hands away.

'See, innocent.'

'Shut up. I just never had anyone like me enough to do that kind of stuff with.'

'Are you even interested in any of that?'

You shrugged. Draco really couldnt get anything out of you. You were mysterious when it came to that.. and a little uncomfortable.

'I think we worked enough for today.' Draco said while stretching.

He gathered all the books and took them back to their places. You watched him put them away. You couldve expected those question seeing you asked him. He walked back over to you.

'Lets go, angel.'
