You closed your suitcase and sat down on Draco's bed. You hadn't been looking forwards to this day. Returning to Hogwarts. You knew people didn't really like you.

'Hey.' Draco said. 'It'll be okay. I'll have your back.'

'I know.'

He kissed your cheek and stroke your back.

'Do you want to tell Grace and Peter we are dating?' He asked.

'I don't think it'll take them long to figure it out.' You said. 'They'll ask us eventually.'

You gave Draco a weak smile. He pulled you into his arms and laid you down with him. You held him tightly as he tried to comfort you.

'When ever something happens, you can always ask for my help. I'll make sure no one hurt you.'

'Thank you.' You just said. 'We should really go.'

You took all your stuff downstairs. Your parents were already waiting for you.

'We got you your prefects seats back.' Your mother smiled. 'Just to hopefully make your journey back a little more comfortable after everything that happened.'

'Thanks mum.'

They handed you your prefect badges. You gave one to Draco and put it onto your shirt. You didn't know if that was the best idea.

'Let's go, we will drive you.' Your father said.

You and Draco said goodbye to Lucius and Narcissa before your parents took you to the station. You each grabbed your stuff to take inside. Your mother gave you a big hug.

'Stay safe, have a good rest of the year.' She spoke before you hugged your dad.

'Will do. I'll see you guys soon.'

You and Draco headed to platform 9¾. You were still very quiet. Draco noticed that. He didn't want to disturb you too much.

'Guys!'

You looked up and saw Peter and Grace heading towards you. She smiled until her eye caught your prefects badge.

'What? Nooooo, now we can't sit with you!' Grace whined.

'Just sneak in with us. I'm sure you'll get away with it.' Draco said.

Grace looked at Peter. He sighed and rolled his eyes.

'Sure.' He said.

You all sat down in a booth in the prefects compartment. Draco laid his hand behind you, so you could sit against him. Grace eyed you for a moment.

'What did you do this holiday?' Grace asked.

'Annoy Astoria at Draco's house.' You grinned. 'What about you?'

'We just celebrated Christmas an moved between each other houses.' Peter said.

More and more started coming in. You felt their eyes on you before they sat down. Draco tried his best to remain calm.

'What are you doing here?'

You looked up at saw Ginny and Hermione. You hadn't seen them all year and now they were suddenly talking to you? They never even paid you any attention.

'We got our prefect seats back.' Draco said.

'I wasn't talking to you, Malfoy.' Hermione said while looking at you. 'This is supposed to be a nice and peaceful ride to Hogwarts.'

'Seriously? You ignore my presence all these years and now you have a problem with me?' You asked.

'Everyone at Hogwarts does. It's a surprise you even came back.'

'Hermione.' Ginny said. 'Let it go. Just sit down.'

She huffed and then walked away. She sat down and you could feel her ugly gaze on you. You took of your prefects badge and threw it onto the table before getting up and walking away.

'Y/N-'

Draco got up and walked after you. Right before you left the prefects compartment he grabbed your wrist. You turned around. He saw the hurt and anger in your eyes while you pulled your arm away.

'Dont listen to them. They don't even know you.'

'This is exactly why I didn't want to go back.' You said. 'No one knows me and still they treat me like this.'

Draco pulled you into a hug and held you tightly against him. Grace and Peter were eying the scene from their booth.

'Their vibe changed.' Grace said.

'I notice it too. Do you think they're..'

Grace looked at Peter.

'Dating? God I hope so.'

Draco let you go and gave you a small kiss.

'I know you.. Grace and Peter, they know you. We all have your back. I promise.'

He stroke your hair behind your ear (if possible) and gave you a comforting smile.

'Come on. Let's to back.'

Draco took you back to your seat.

'You okay?' Grace asked.

You just nodded and out your badge back on. You laid your head against Draco. He smiled as he took you into his arms.

'Are you guys..' Peter started.

'Yes.' Draco just said.

'Oh my god, really?!' Grace exclaimed.

Everyone looked at her for a moment. Not that she really cared.

'How long?' She asked.

'Since this holiday.' Draco spoke with a smile.

'I told you it was going to happen.' Peter said.

You just smiled but it quickly faded. While the rest was talking you were just wondering about how this was going to end. You just hoped it was all going to be okay.

When the train stopped, you all waited to leave last. That way you wouldn't have to worry about other people. You took the carriages to Hogwarts.

'You're awfully quiet.' Grace said to you. 'I don't know you like that. Are you okay?'

'I'm fine. Really tired. Didn't sleep well.' You just said.

'I bet that with Draco you never sleep long.' Peter laughed.

Grace gave him a playful slap to show him that it wasn't the time for those jokes.

'We will make sure you sleep well tonight.' Draco said. 'Why dont you stay in my room tonight?'

'If you say so.'
