25 ~ breaking news

You sat up on the edge of the bed, naked. You pushed yourself up. You and Draco still hadn't spoken. You grabbed your dress and underwear from the floor and headed into the bathroom where you got dressed.

You stared at yourself in the mirror. You messed up makeup (if you wear any) and messy hair (if possible). The words "you are not my girlfriend!" Replayed themselves in your head. They were like a curse or a disease. They made you feel weak and lonely.

You headed out of the bathroom. Draco was sitting on the edge of his bed with his back facing you. He was only wearing his underwear and pants and his dress shirt was in his hand. He was bend over as if he was thinking.

You wanted to sit back on the bed but you decided to just sink into one of his chairs. You pulled your legs up and stared at the floor.

'Are you okay?' He asked.

'Yeah.' You just said.

You managed to grab your shoes off the ground and put them on. You got up and headed towards the door. You grabbed the doorknob and turned to Draco who just stared at you.

'I'm sorry that I ruined your evening.' You said. 'I didn't mean for that to happen.'

'Y/N-' Draco said while you already walked away. 'You did ruin my evening.. I ruined ours.' He finished himself softly.

'Draco, are you okay?' Peter asked.

Draco looked up from his plate.

'Oh.. yeah.'

Grace reached over to the daily prophet and flipped it over to get the the front page. She then almost choked on her juice.

'What's going on?' Peter asked.

She showed his the front page. Everyone was already talking about it. It was obvious that no one was going to miss out on this.

'Oh god..'

Draco grabbed the news paper from them. Before he could say anything you entered the great hall. You walked in and suddenly all eye were on you. People were whispering and pointing at you. You stopped and looked at Grace in confusion.

Grace handed you a news paper.

Spies and lies uncovered

This morning the Ministry of Magic has reported that the mysterious wizards behind the leaking of Ministry secrets during the wizard war, have been discovered.

After a long investigation process they found Y/M/N and Y/F/N Y/L to be death eater spies, who worked for Lord Voldemort. They have been found guilty of treason and are now fired. This case will go to court on the 6th of February, to see if any legal steps will be taken against the two Ministry workers.

'Do you think she knew?'
'She's probably one of them too! I bet she's been spying on Hogwarts during the war.'
'Do you think she has a dark mark?'
'Her parents are probably a new threat to the wizarding world.'
'Why didn't she tell anyone!'

You stepped back and dropped the news paper on the floor before running out. Draco wanted to get up to run after you.

'Let me do it! She is probably going to go up to her room. You can't go there.'

Grace got up and she hurried after you. You had no idea what was going on. Your parents never told you they were death eaters.. or spies! But everyone already seemed to hate you for it!

You didn't get it. They accepted Draco back but not you? The looks you got, the pointing and the whispering. It was awful.

You slammed the door to your room behind you. You faceplanted yourself in your bed and tried your best to not burst out in tears. Grace sat down besides you and ran her hand through your hair.
