Chapter 35: No one knows.

Your POV

" I heard Tanjiro and the others we'll be having a mission after their training. " Giyuu told me.

" Really? Their Nichirin Blades will be arriving tomorrow. So that means they'll be heading off soon? " I asked Giyuu and he nodded.

" Guess I won't be able to train Nezuko after all. " I said with a sigh.

Before heading home we went to Lady Tamayo and told her everything, and everything Tanjiro told me about Nezuko.

" I see... Let me tell you this. Kibutsuji Muzan can read the thoughts and grasp the location of whom he shared his blood with. " Lady Tamayo said, Giyuu and I looked at each other with our eyes widen.

" But, the farther they are, the harder it is for him. In normal cases, he would have already known about the Headquarters the moment Nezuko arrived... " She continued and smiled.

" Just like me... Little did he know, Nezuko survived and managed to undo his curse. " Lady Tamayo said and looked at me.

" But on your case... The reason your father doesn't know is probably because of your mother's cleansing. And maybe that's the reason perhaps you can somehow manage to control yourself... " Lady Tamayo told me. I looked at Giyuu and he gave me a warm smile.

" And probably because of the people who loved and cared about you. " Lady Tamayo said with a chuckle.

" Disgusting. " I head Yushiro muttered. " By the way! You never craved for blood, right? " Yushiro asked me.

" Nope. I crave for Giyuu's... you know. Rather than human blood nor flesh. " I told him with a chuckle. Giyuu just sighed.

" D-disgusting! " Yushiro said and left the room. I laughed and Lady Tamayo just chuckled.

~ Time skip, the next day ~

I went to the Estate carrying a bento box for Tanjiro and the others, when I finally saw them, they were checking out their new swords.

" Ah Lady (y/n), you really saved us some time. " A swordsmith said and handed me a quiver.

" Arrows? " I said and looked at him.

" This was requested by Lord Tomioka, this is made of the same materials we use on forging your blade, you can easily kill demons with this Milady. " He said.

" Wow. So Giyuu went to the Swordsmith Village? " I asked with a chuckle.

" Yes, absolutely Milady. " He told me.

" Thank you so much. " I told him.

" I was also told to forge for Inosuke's sword, it had so much chips I wonder what happened... It's actually my first time doing arrows and swords for dual wielders. " He told me.

" Thank you again for your efforts Mr. Kanamori. " I told him. Inosuke stood up and started walking away.

" So how is it Inosuke? " He asked him. " Does it feel light? " He asked Inosuke again, Inosuke ignored him and started searching for rocks. We all looked confusingly at Inosuke until he started slamming the rock unto his blade.

" Oh... So that's what happened. " I told myself with a sigh.

" I'll rip you to shreds you darn brat! " Mr. Kanamori angrily yelled at Inosuke.

" We're so sorryy! " Tanjiro told him while trying to prevent him from tackling Inosuke.

" Don't worry Mr. Kanamori he loves it, he just uh... Loves it even more that way. " I said with a chuckle. With that the swordsmiths left, still with disappointment and disbelief.

~ Time skip, a few months later ~

" Lady (y/n), the boys really improved a lot these past few months. " Shinobu suddenly told me.

" Really? That's good news as expected of them. " I told Shinobu as she sat beside me.

" Thank you for watching over them, supervising their training and for tending to their wounds whenever I'm not around... " I told her with a smile.

" Should I thank you too for secretly taking Nezuko out for training? " Shinobu told me with a chuckle and I immediately looked at her with my eyes widened.

" So you knew? " I asked her. I then felt footsteps towards our direction, I slowly turned around to see Aoi still awake with three cups of tea.

" Tea at this hour of the night? Hmm... why not? Thank you, Aoi. " I said and she placed the tray beside Shinobu.

" It's actually Aoi who told me. " Shinobu said, I then looked at Aoi.

" I-I'm sorry Lady (y/n). I just noticed some of the dummies with weird scratches on them... " She explained and handed me a cup.

" I understand Aoi, don't worry about it. It's totally fine. " I told her with a reassuring smile.

" It's not like it's her first time ever breaking a rule. " Shinobu said with a chuckle, I then chuckled alongside her. Aoi awkwardly just smiled and excused herself.

" By the way... I already talked with Oyakata-sama regarding Tanjiro and the others, and why we both recommended them on this mission with Rengoku-san. " Shinobu told me.

" I shouldn't have doubted you and Tomioka-san from the start. I'm sorry. " She continued. I just sighed and took a small sip of the tea and looked at her.

" Again with this? Shinobu... I totally understand. It's only natural to feel that way... " I told her.

" Ahh. Rengoku-san, nice to see you here. " Shinobu said with a smile.

' No wonder there are three cups... ' I thought as he sat beside me, Shinobu gave me the cup and I immediately handed it to him.

" Thanks. Where's Tomioka-san? " He said and asked me.

" He's still probably on a mission... " I told him.

" So no wedding yet? " Rengoku asked me and I just laughed at him.

" I just don't want a wedding... I want a peaceful one. " I told them and Shinobu chuckled.

" Life's too short you know? We'll never know what going to happen next. " Rengoku said and took a sip of his tea, Shinobu and I just stared at him.

" True... But I wish it's not as short as Shinobu. " I said with a laugh, Rengoku laughed as well, I looked at Shinobu, who's already glaring at me.

" I'd rather shut up if you don't want your life to be shorter than me... " Shinobu said with a threatening voice.

" That's really not what we meant, I was meaning to say Tomioka-san should marry (y/n), because  what if I'll marry her before he can? No one knows " Rengoku said and laughed.

" Well, too bad you don't know how to make a love potion huh? " Shinobu said with a smirk.

" Why, can you? " Rengoku asked Shinobu, Shinobu just laughed at him.

" Well, I can poison both of you so you can be together in the afterlife...  " Shinobu said with a smirk, Rengoku and I immediately spit our tea out.

" I just kidding. It's not poisoned. " She said and finally took the first sip of her tea and chuckled. Rengoku and I stared at each other and chuckled as well.

" For now, I'll hand them over to you Rengoku-san, please take care of them.  " I said and looked at him. He smiled and nodded.

" And of course be careful as well. " I continued.

" Of course, (y/n). I promise. " Rengoku said.

AN: Helloo long time no see. I'm still alive. HAHAHAHAHA I've been so so so busy, I'm so so so sorry for the long wait huhuhu. I just graduated Nursing School and passed the Licensure exam... So yeah... That's how my 2022 went :') Now I'm trying to find a job. LMAO
