Chapter 4: Demon *𝕷𝖊𝖒𝖔𝖓*

Giyuu's POV

" Every full moon, I become a demon. " She said without hesitation. My eyes grew wider as her nails grew longer and sharper, and fangs slowly appearing.

" N-no wonder your wounds heal much faster than a regular human... " I told her.

" Giyuu... Kill me. " She said and I immediately stood up.

" No! I can't! I'm not gonna kill you! " I yelled at her. She's trembling and sweating a lot.

" But I'm a d-demon, the one that you despise. " She said trembling while looking at her palms.

" I despise demons, not you. " I told her and her eyes widen.

" Have you killed or eaten someone? " I asked her with a stern voice.

" No, not a single one. " She told me while coming closer to me. I was hesitant to draw my sword, I just can't.

She gently cupped my face and leaned towards me. My eyes widen, I immediately shut it tight and waited for something to happen.

' Is she gonna eat me? Should I really draw my sword? She's just a demon during full moon. I can't kill her, she's important to me. ' I told myself.

" I'm sorry. " She told me and our foreheads touched. I looked deeply into her eyes.

" Even if you're a demon, you're still the (y/n) I know. Maybe you're different compared to other demons. A normal demon usually charges after a human without any hesitation. " I told her.

" But you, you didn't attacked me. " I added.

" I swore to him that I will protect you. " She said with tears forming on her eyes.

~ Flashback, during the Final Selection ~

My left eye is injured and I was being chased by demons, luckily Sabito came to save me.

" Protect each other, Giyuu. I know she'll be needing you, and be needing her as well. " Sabito told me, while carrying me to safety. I can see (y/n) running towards us. I smiled in relief, she's okay.

Sabito smiled, " Guess I'm finally giving you two an alone time together. " He said with a chuckle, I just sighed and looked away.

Then another demon attacked us " No! Giyuu! ", I heard (y/n) yelled and she immediately went to me. Sabito then killed it immediately.

~ End of flashback ~

" I promised him and myself, to protect you as well. " I told her and cupped her face.

" Cause you're the only one that kept me going. You gave me a reason to keep on living. " I continued and she smiled while trembling.

" I love you... " I told her, slowly leaning over to kiss her.

Your POV

When our lips touched, I felt like everything around me stopped moving. I stopped trembling and slowly kissed him back. I cupped his face and he deepened our kiss.

A small moan escaped from my lips. I feel like an electricity is travelling around my entire body. He slowly pulled away and kissed my forehead, he then looked at me and smiled.

" I love you too, Giyuu... " I told him.

" I don't care if you're a demon, you're still (y/n). As long as it's you, my love will be endless like an ocean. " Giyuu told me, I can't help but smile and blush. He's been so sweet to me, yet so cold to others. He made me feel so special.
