Gaara x reader

It was just a typical day, Lady Tsunade called me into her office because I have a mission with Sakura and Naruto. It should be interesting. I'm walking towards her office right now, its pretty hot out. I arrived at her office and knocked on the door. I heard a faint "Come in" from her.

"Alright since you 3 are all here now, I need you guys to deliver this scroll to the Kazekage" Lady Tsunade said. I've never met the Kazekage so this should be fun.

"Don't you have special birds to deliver scrolls to different nations?"Sakura questioned. Lady Tsunade just sighed and looked up.

"Well yes but this is a secret scroll you absolutely CANNOT let anyone get. I have a feeling if I just use a bird to deliver it, it will get stolen by the Akatsuki. And we can't let that happen" We all just nodded and and she handed me the scroll since I'm the most trusted with this. We headed out towards the gate.

"This is gonna be a long trip" I complain. Naruto looks like he was about to say something but Sakura interrupted. 

"I agree it's gonna be a long trip but Lady Tsunade is right. We can't let the Akatsuki get this scroll" Sakura said. We just nodded and headed out. 

It's been about a day or 2 and we had finally reached the sand village. We all looked like we were about to pass out. I checked to see if I still have it and sure enough I do. WE headed into to the village to be greeted by a girl with a huge fan and a guy with a hat that makes him look like a cat.

"I don't think we've met, I'm temari and this is Kankuro. We are Lord Gaara's siblings" She greeted and I shook her and Kankuro's hand.

"NIce to meet you, Im y/n" I did a closed eye smile and at that we headed to the office. There's way too many stairs. Halfway there and i'm panting trying to get my breath. Temari comes over.

"Are you okay" You can tell she was trying to stifle back a laugh. I just glared and kept walking. Finally we reached the top. Temari knocks and we hear a muffled come in. His voice is kinda hot. Wait no-no-no I haven't even met him. We enter and I see the most gorgeous man with the prettiest sea foam green eyes and red hair.  He looks and see Naruto, Sakura, Kankuro, Temari, and I. He slightly blushes when he sees me but i'm probably imag-

"Gaara why is your face red? Are you Okay?" Naruto questions. Temari and Kankuro are covering their mouths trying to cover their giggles.

"I'm fine, so since you're here I'm assuming you guys have the scroll Lady Tsunade was sending me" He said. We nodded and I stepped forward giving it to him. He nods and blushes.

"Well I think we found the culprit who made Gaara blush" Temari whispers to Kankuro. Gaara just glared at Temari.

"It's getting late we should start heading back" Sakura said, Naruto was about to complain.

"You guys should stay and rest tonight. We have extra rooms" Gaara said, we all nodded. I was about to leave with Temari.

"I never got your name" Gaara said looking deep into my soul.

"Right I'm sorry, my name is y/n" Gaara blushes. By now everyone left the office.

"If you want to, you can stay in my room tonight" Omg no way the kazekage is asking me to stay in his room tonight. Am I gonna be in the same bed as him?

"Thank you Lord Kazekage" I Bowed.

"No need to be formal, you can just call me Gaara" He smiles, I send the smile right back at him. 

"Y/N WE NEED YOU GET DOWN HERE" Naruto screams. I just sigh and went towards the door.

"Once again thank you Gaara" I smile at him. He blushes and and nods. I head out to see what Naruto was screaming about.

"What do you want Naruto" I sighed clearly annoyed.

"Do you wanna help Sakura and I cook dinner" Temari asks. 

"I would love to Temari" I Answer. I walk into the kitchen.

"Soooo what do you think of Gaara" She smirks. I just blush profusely.  She giggles.

"Well he has pretty eyes and pretty red hair. He's super nice, he's also letting me sleep in his room tonight" When I said that last part Temari just looked at me in pure shock. I was confused.

"He never lets anyone do that" She laughs. I smile, I can feel my blush forming.

"Well in no time you will be my sister in law" I cover my face when she said that. She just laughing at my reaction.

It was time for dinner and Gaara came downstairs and when he looked at me he slightly blushed and looked away. Temari told Kankuro about how i'm able to sleep in Gaara's room tonight. For the most part we sat in silence, I sat next to Gaara and Temari. Naruto was the one talking the most. After dinner I helped Temari clean up and after that I went to Gaara.

"Hey Gaara" I said blushing, I think he noticed that and smirked. 

"Here i'll show you my room and im sure Temari has something she can let you borrow to bed" He smiled and reached out his hand and I gladly took it.

"Great we're gonna be up all night" Temari grumbled to Kankuro. Both Gaara and I just blushed hard.

Temari gave me this silk long nightgown and there's a balcony connected to gaara's room so i went out there and my hair was dancing in the wind. I heard the Balcony door open and feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist. I soon realize it was Gaara and melted into the touch.

"You look beautiful" He said turning me to face him. My face was crimson as he pushed back a piece of hair behind my ear.

"T-thank you Gaara" I said blushing.

"I know we just met but I have these feelings that I have never felt before. Whenever I look at you or speak to you my heart races and I start getting sweaty-" He was about to keep going but I interrupted him by a kiss on the lips. It wasn't long but it was sweet and passionate. It's like a kiss from the movies. We release and just stand there looking at each other for a minute.

"I feel the same way Gaara" I smile and hug him. He tenses at first but melts into it.

"How can you like someone as dangerous and as monastery as me" He frowns. I grab his face.

"Gaara, I don't think you're a monster at all or dangerous. You're so sweet and gentle" I smile and he has a few tears coming down his face.

"Let's go in and go to bed, okay?" I say, he nods and follows me back in. He gets into his pajamas. I'm already in the bed. I feel the same pair of arms wrap around my waist. We eventually fell asleep like that.

Time skip---

"Aww look they look so happy together" Temari says to Kankuro. 

"Yeah, I'm proud of Gaara" Kankuro replies, they leave the room. Naruto and Sakura left and they are planning to tell Lady Tsunade I'm staying with Gaara for an extra few days.
