Chapter 12

Ymir's POV

Its been a few months since we've all found out historia's pregnancy and its almost her due month to giving birth, Connie, Jean and Niccolo often give gifts for their soon to be niece. As for Mikasa she also moved in here in the castle singe that is what both historia and i want so that someone may give historia some company while im busy ruling Paradis for a while, Well for now they're at where Sasha's family is staying they often to go there with annie and pieck since Historia built a small cottages for them to stay there each family.

'im finally finished' i thought to myself as i finished signing some papers

I heard a knock in my door, "Come in!" I said as the door opens revealing connie.

"Is there something you need Connie?"

"Why dont you take a break and take a stroll in the town with historia today?" He said

"Like a date or something" he added

Well now that i think about it, me and Historia didnt have a alone time or went to dates ever since we both got married, especially when she got pregnant

"Where's historia right now?" I asked

"Hmm i saw her in a tree earlier with the others, all of them are having fun she keeps braiding Gabi's hair. I think she's expecting your kid to be a girl" Connie giggled

"Though, she also dressed falco up like she's expecting a baby boy as well" he added

"Well i know that no matter what gender the baby is, historia will love her or him no matter what" i said looking at the picture where me and Historia got married

A few minutes later, me and connie arrived to the place where the others and historia are hanging out. As they saw me and connie arrived they signalled us to come join us and so we did, i sat beside historia massaging her slightly huge baby bump, well i cant blame her she's in her 8th month of pregnancy already and by the next month she will soon give birth to a healthy baby.

After a few hours of always talking i noticed that historia is dozing off, it seems like she's already tired from talking and laughing. I shifted myself over to carry historia back to the room, everyone noticed it after i carried historia successfully and nodded so they continued to chit chat while i carry historia peacefully.

As we both arrived to our room and placed historia in the bed, as i successfully placed her she tucked my sleeve telling me to join her and so without a single hesitation i went and joined her in her peaceful sleep.

A few hours later i woke up to the sound of someone knocking at our bedroom door, so i slowly shifted and went out of bed and walked quietly towards the door, opening it slowly as well as i opened the door i saw one of the messagers on sudden informations and stuff.

"What is it that you need to tell me?" I asked

"Your majesty there is a event that one of the rulers in Paradis must attend"

"Oh? Where is this event located?"

"Its actually in one of the countries in Asia, to where the Azumabito clan is. They are currently going to host an event of celebrating lady Mikasa's taking over"

'woah, wait a sec Mikasa is royalty? Well thats a news for me' i thought to myself

"You said one of the rulers of Paradis must attend right? The Queen isnt available for now so i guess I'll have to attend the event myself" i said

As i was about to tell the messager to leave and thank him for telling me about the upcoming event, i realized that what if it takes long and i wont be able to be here when historia gives birth and i dont want that, i want to see our baby together.

"Excuse me before you go, how long is this event gonna take? And how long am i suppose to stay there?" I asked

"It says that you're gonna need to stay there for atleast 3 weeks your majesty"

3 weeks? But thats until next month

"I see, very well you may leave"

As i closed the door slowly, i heard a soft voice from a certain someone. Historia

"Ymir? What's wrong?" She asked i shooked my head

"no there's nothing wrong love, there's just an upcoming event that one of us needs to attend at the Azumabito's place and since you cant attend cuz you're so near to your due month of giving birth, I'll be the one who will be attending" i said

"How long are you gonna be gone? And when are you leaving?"

"Tommorow and I'll be back after 3 weeks, I'll make sure I'll get back before you give birth alright?" I said kissing her forehead, patting her head

"You better, im so gonna miss you.. 3 weeks seems like forever" she said with a worried look

I smiled at her and kissed her in the lips, it wasnt lustful but it was warm and passionate..

"I won't be long and of course I'll miss you too as well" i said, i then moved my hand to her belly, caressing it

"You better not be stressful to your mother and make her have back aches alright buddy? Mama's gonna be out for a while" i said kissing her belly, historia giggled at sweet action

"Lets go eat dinner so that you can rest?" I suggested, historia nodded and i assisted her on our way to the dining room.

Timeskip

Time goes by and it was already time for me to leave for about 3 weeks, 3 weeks away from my kingdom, 3 weeks away from my beloved wife.. being a king sometimes sure is troublesome. Arrived at the place and many people greeted me, the Azumabito's private bodyguards are making our way clear as the military police makes sure im safe well what can i say? Im pretty too damn lucky to be king in my 3rd life. As we entered the huge villa-like place i was stunned on how the place is designed

"Ymir! Over here!" A voice called my name, i looked towards the direction from where the voice came and saw Mikasa, Armin and Annie

"Nice outfit you got there, freckles" annie said, i rolled my eyes at her

"Yeah right, anyways when will this ceremony start?" I asked

"In a couple of minutes, after that you have a few meetings together with mikasa and I'll be there as well so as annie since she's my Secretary and she's also good at filing, remembering and stuff" Armin said, i smirked at him but i decided to not fool around here

"Lady Mikasa!" A person called out Mikasa's name, we looked at the person calling and saw an old lady. Rude but i don't know her name so what ever, i don't care HAHA

"Miss kiyomi, this is King Ymir Reiss.. Queen Historia Reiss wasnt able to attend this even because of giving birth in a couple of weeks from now" Mikasa said introducing me to the old lady, her names Kiyomi huh? Oh well people have unique names i can say.
I bowed to Lady kiyomi as sign of respect as King of Paradis and as my own, well she did the same and everything was chill

'guess I'll just play chill, respective and honorfull here for my friends, Mikasa and historia here.. the soon as i finish here the soon i can go home to be with historia when she gives birth'
i thought to myself as we all headed to our destination which is room i think, pretty sure every meeting is in a room?.. or not? Not sure, I'll just see what the near future holds me here
