"Sorry to disturb you Aljaz, but the doctor has told me you can go home tomorrow and come back in a couple of days' time to remove your stitches." Caitlin said coming into my room.
"Ah that's great. Thank you, Caitlin."
"Where's Janette?" Caitlin asked.
"They just had a huge argument, so she went home." Neil said.
"Well, in order for you to go home, you need to have someone to look after you, so could you maybe patch things up with her or we can't let you leave."
"Okay, I'll call her just now."
"Tell her there's no rush. She just needs to be here tomorrow to take you home. Can she drive?"
"Yes, she can. She's not a huge fan of driving though. Hand me my phone please mate?" I asked AJ.
"Hey Bučka!" I said when Janette answered.
"Calmed down yet..." Janette said.
"Hey, it wasn't me who was in a mood! It was you who stormed off."
"Yeah because you shouted at me for caring about you! Didn't realise it was such a bad thing to care about someone you've loved for five years!"
"Janette calm down! There is a reason I've phoned! And it wasn't to get shouted at. Caitlin has told me I can go home tomorrow and come back in a couple of days' time to get my stitches out, but the doctor won't let me go home unless I have someone to look after me, which is where you come in."
"That means me driving doesn't it?" she sighed.
"Yeah sorry, I'm obviously not allowed to drive."
"Bučko, you know I hate driving."
"Well its either that or I'm stuck in here, and I'd rather be at home, so we can stop arguing."
"Fine tell Caitlin I'll be up for you first thing tomorrow morning."
"Okay see you then." I said putting the phone down.
"Wow... I never thought I would ever hear you two arguing; you've been inseparable for the past five years." Gorka said sighing.
"I think she's just stressed with Uni and everything, She's got huge exams coming up this week and they determine whether or not she gets to stay on the course so she really has to concentrate and I'm worried that me getting hurt is going to keep her from being focused."
"I'm sure she'll be fine. She knows when she's stressed. Right we better be going but remember if you need anything and Janette's not there, you can always contact one of us." Neil said patting me on the shoulder.
"Okay thanks guys. See you later."
After they had left, I suddenly realised why people hated staying in hospitals by themselves, this place was scary. Now I knew how Janette felt five years ago.
