She's Found Us...

Once I got home I threw my bag down and ran up the stairs and collapsed on to my bed and cried my eyes out.

"Sweetheart what's wrong?" My Mum asked coming into my room and giving me a hug.

"I had a horrible day at Uni, and I fell out with Dianne! Mr Fraser is being really harsh on me right now all because I missed one day of Uni this week because of what happened with Aljaz. I know he wants me to do well on this course but there's nicer way to go about it, he's making me feel bad about myself. I don't think I can do this course!"

"Of course, you can sweetheart. But how did you fall out with Dianne? You two have been inseparable the past five years.

"I said that I was the most hardworking student on the finance course, and she wasn't happy because we are both hardworking, and she was really hurt by it."

"What is with you two and falling out over something stupid? I mean why did you fall out the first time?"

"It was because I was more flexible than her and she wasn't happy about it. We both knew that that was stupid to fall out over, but she seems really hurt by this, and I don't know if she'll ever speak to me again!" I said hysterically crying.

"Of course, she'll speak to you again, just give her time to calm down. You maybe shouldn't have said that to her though darling, that can really hurt someone if they put all that hard work into something and they don't get the recognition for it."

"Alright Mum, make me feel more like shit why don't you?"

"Oi! Watch your language! You know I don't like you swearing, especially in front of me!"

"Sorry, but it's true!"

"Look just give Dianne time to calm down and I'm sure she'll call you and you'll be the best of friends again.

"Okay, I'm going to go over and see Aljaz. He's been by himself all day, I better go and check on him."

"No, you've got studying to do! I want you do to at least an hour studying before you go anywhere!"

"But Mum I said I would check on him when I was finished Uni!"

"Weren't you just talking about how hardworking you are? Well prove it to me then, prove to me that you can do at least an hour of home study then you can go wherever you want."

"Wow..." I said falling back onto my bed. "This is fun..." I said sarcastically.

All of a sudden my phone starting ringing. I knew this would either be Aljaz, Dianne or Carys. More than likely it would be Aljaz wondering where I was. I looked at the screen and panicked, it was an unknown number. I really didn't want to answer it but then I wanted to know who had my number without me knowing. I took a deep breath and put the phone to my ear.

"Who is this..." I said hesitantly.

"BUCKA!! Help me!!" I heard Aljaz shouting in the background. I instantly started crying as I knew what was happening.

"You let him go right now! He's done nothing wrong! It's me you want to get rid of! Leave him alone!" I shouted down the phone.

"If you want to save your precious boyfriend come alone, and we can sort this out like adults..." his Mum said menacingly down the phone.

"D-Don't hurt him please!" I said tearfully.

"What's wrong Princess?" My Mum asked coming into my room and I put my hand to my mouth to tell her to be quiet.

"It's your choice Janette, you come here alone, or I will hurt him!"

I broke down in tears and put my phone down.

"Janette what's going on?" My Mum asked again giving me a hug.

"Mum I know I said I would study for an hour but that was Mrs Skorjanec on the phone, she's done something bad to Aljaz and she wants me to go over there alone, and she will let him go!"

"I'll phone the police!"

"No Mum you can't do that! That's exactly why Aljaz is in the situation he's in because he called them. I have to go over and face her, then maybe if we have a civilised conversation she'll hand herself in, but if we phone the police god knows what she'll do!"

"At least let me come with you, you can't go by yourself!"

"Mum! I have to go by myself! If I have anyone with me, she's going to kill him!"

"I'm pretty sure she wouldn't kill him, at the end of the day he's still her Son and I'm sure she would hate herself forever if she did that."

"I'm going by myself Mum, end of story!"
