Someone help!

At the end of uni I walked out of the building to see Aljaz waiting for me. I was so happy to see him, all I wanted to do was hug him to death after the day I'd had!

"Hey Bučka! How was your day?"

"Awful!! Mr Fraser is such an idiot! He wouldn't just read the email that Mrs Gilbert sent him he made me tell him what was going on with me even though I made it quite clear that I wasn't in the mood to talk about it!"

"Oh well at least you don't have to see him again until tomorrow."

"Ugh don't remind me... right where have you looked?" I said putting my seatbelt on.

"We've looked everywhere babe, we haven't found them yet." He said putting his head in his hands.

"Well let's start looking again, go back to your house and work our way down again. I want them found!"

"Babe, I'm tired, can we please just go home? I know we want to find them but can we wait a while? We can go out later tonight!"

"Fine, I'll make us dinner then we'll go out later! I know I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight knowing they're out there somewhere." I said cuddling into Aljaz.

"Don't worry Bučka! We're going to find them! You sure you want to cook tonight? We both know you aren't much of a cook!"

"Haha you're funny!! Thanks! But yes I'm fine cooking!"

We pulled up outside his house and got into the kitchen.

"Babe, someone's been in here..." Aljaz said going white in the face.

"How can you tell? Calm down baby, don't pass out on me!!" I said putting my hands behind his back.

"I know someone's been in here, I left cups sitting next to the sink that are gone!"

"You sure AJ and Giovanni never put them away?" I said trying not to panic and make the situation worse.

"We always told you to put your dishes away didn't we?" A voice said that we both recognised. I looked up and gasped and started crying. It was Aljaz's Mum.

"What are you doing here?" Aljaz shouted putting his arms around me to protect me. "I won't let you anywhere near Janette again!!"

"We told you we wouldn't let you two stay together, this girl is not right for you Aljaz. When will you understand that?"

"And when will you understand that I love Janette more than I've ever loved anyone else and I never want to lose her! You stay away from us or I swear to god I'll phone the police right now! They are looking for you!"

"Just you try phoning them!" She said taking out a knife and coming towards me.

"Aljaz help me!!" I shouted.

"Don't worry baby! I won't let her near you!" He immediately lifted me up and ran up the stairs and put me in his room and shut the door. I sat next to the door with my ear against it to hear what was going on.

"Aljaz, all you have to do is agree to leave Janette and we can go back to being the family we were before she came in between us."

"That's it! I'm phoning the police!"

"No Aljaz!! Don't do that!! She'll hurt you!!" I shouted banging my fist on the door. I knew she couldn't hurt me, but she could still hurt Aljaz. Next I heard a thud and Aljaz screaming.

"Ah! Bučka! Help me!!" Aljaz shouted.

"Bučko!! What has she done?!" I shouted back opening the door to find Aljaz lying on the floor, she had stabbed her own son and ran out of the house.

"ALJAZ!! Oh my god!! Hold on baby! I'm going to phone the ambulance right now!" I shouted pulling out my phone.

"Ambulance and police please!" I cried down the phone. "It's Janette Manrara, Natasa Škorjanec was here and she stabbed Aljaz and took off! Please hurry!! I can't loose my Bučko!!"

"Janette..." Aljaz said holding my hand.

"Hold on Bučko!! The ambulance are on their way! I can't believe your Mum would do this!!" I cried.

"Is my Dad here?" He asked.

"I bloody hope so! He'll be arrested on the spot if he is here then they can look for your Mum!" I looked down and saw that Aljaz had passed out.

"Aljaz!! Wake up baby!! Don't leave me!" I shouted. "Someone help!!"

"We're here Janette!" I heard the paramedics shout.

"Please help him! He's been stabbed by his Mum! She took off and I don't know if his Dad's here as well, but the police are looking for them, they escaped from prison last night!"

"Calm down Janette, you're in shock darling!" The female paramedic said giving me a hug. "We'll take Aljaz to the hospital and get him stitched up. It doesn't look like the knife went far enough to cause any real damage. He's just fainted from loosing too much blood, but he'll be fine once we get him to the hospital."

"Please just hurry! I can't lose him!" I said hysterically crying.
