It's been about a week since everything went normal-ish and 3 days since I finally admitted to myself I had a crush on Hope Mikaelson. As if just finding out I was a witch was bad try having a major crush on a tribrid, you just met a few weeks ago.

Me, Hope, Lizzie, Josie and some other witches and vampires from the school were all sitting a lunch before a certain witch cleared her voice in front of us and all of our heads turned to her.

"Alyssa, how lovely to see you" Hope turned her head and gave her a sarcastic smile.

Alyssa Chang, a thorn in everyone's side.

"Well it's not lovely to see you I just wanted to warn you about Maya- Maya you know her right didn't you date her Stefanie" the words slithered out of her mouth and I cringed at the way she said my name and involved me in this.

"Don't bring Stefanie into this" Hope snarled at Alyssa.

"Chill witchy I only came her to warn you about Maya"

"What about her" it was my turn to talk. I was sick of Maya being another thorn in my side. Those damn prickly things.

"She's planning something, something big and you know I actually like it here and besides she's your problem not mine so fix it before I fix you" she said before turning on her heels and stomping away with her minions. I rolled my eyes and scoffed.

"Alyssa Chang everyone" Josie murmured and we all busted out laughing. Lunch was usually like this and I was thankful. I was forced to remember the days at lunch as Mystic Falls High School when I would sit like a puppy next to Maya while her friends whispered about me right in front of me, and she wouldn't do anything to stop them.

"So guys want to go to the grill later" Josies voice brings me back to reality. I pop a fry in my mouth and nod "yeah actually I've been meaning to get out of town, I actually need to stop home while we're out"

"Okay then it's set after classes" she gives a curt nod to everyone and heads off to chemistry with Rafael.

"Why do you need to go home" Hope asked.

"I want to bring some more of my clothes and grab some of my things I left there" I shrugged cleaning up my mess and grabbing my books.

I quickly threw my trash away.

"Hey, I'm gonna go back to my room and get ready" I have everyone a tight smile. They waved before I walked out of the cafeteria and up to my room.

It was so weird looking around the room, I've only been living here for a couple weeks and it feels different than at home. I know my house is only a few minutes away but it feels nice to be away to be apart of something different. Sure I miss my mom and dad but I liked it here. With Hope, with my friends.

"Hey, you okay" I heard a familiar voice come from my door.

"I'm good" I mumbled as I grabbed my empty suitcase from the closet and closed the door lightly.

"If your saying your good why don't you seem good" Hope said softly and made her way over to me.

"I just feel so I don't happy and I feel like that's a bad thing like it's not real and it's going to end" I said as I fell back onto my bed clutching my diary.

I could tell Hope sat on the bed next to me because the bed indent.

"You know just because we're happy right now doesn't mean it's gonna end any time soon" I internally smiled when she said "we're"

"Knowing my luck it's going to end soon" I sighed

"Well then let's go have fun before it runs out" she grabbed my hand and led me up as I discarded my diary on my bed and followed her out of the room.

"Cmon Josie is waiting for us" she said before we ran down the hallway and laughing at this renowned sense of-

    Hope

It's her.
