Chapter 3

Blues pov

"Come to the park with me?" I turn to the taller boy and frown.

"Why?" He shrugs. "Lets just hang out, talk, watch the sun set, go home."

I stare at him. Am I really worthy of experiencing a moment in the sunset with him after he admitted holding them so close to his heart.

"Come on blue please!" I sigh. "Fine." He grins as we start walking in that direction.

"Ya know, I only live around the corner from the old lady-"

"You mean grace? The lady you thought I lived with." He nods softly.

"Yeah grace. She lives a block away from my apartment. I'm in the ashterlock building, apartment 15." I smile.

"Why are you telling me your apartment?" He shrugs.

"Just in case I fall asleep and you need to carry me home." I laugh before pushing him gently.

We continue to walk and talk for the next hour or so, at one point we made our way to the top of the hill in the park which gives a great view of the city and the sun setting.

"Ya know, in my college we have to do one extra curricular activity so we can graduate." I hum softly.

"What did you choose? Football or maybe badminton or-"

"Ballroom dancing."

I stare at him.

"You chose ballroom dancing? You parker Owens chose to do ballroom dancing as your activity?"

He nods.

"Why?" He sighs and stands up.

"Look, I may not read but I do live in my own fantasy world like you do ok? Ballroom dancing is highly appealing to me. It's fun."

I laugh softly.

"I don't doubt it is, I'd love to do it, I just didn't pin you as the type of guy to appreciate such a thing." He smiles and walks towards me.

"Well i'm pleased to hear you're so eager to do it because I actually need you to do it with me."

I frown. "what? Absolutely not." He groans and sits in front of me.

"Come on blue! I need to dance with someone and record it to get half my grade and It can't be someone in the class!" I nod.

"Ok so ask Catherine or someone else." He shakes his head and pulls me up.

"Come on, you'd kill to ballroom dance with someone in an empty field!" I sigh.

He got me there.

"Theres no way for you to play music."

"I brought a speaker."

"How are you going to record it."

"I have my moms old cam corder."
