Storming away from Aiden's dorm, I mulled over the fact that he kept hitting on me, an attempt to accomplish something, probably to prove he was ruler of the school, or whatever it was guys wanted to be. I was so distracted, that I didn't notice who was in front of me.

"Hey, woah, LOOK OUT!" I barely noticed the guy in front if me before I slammed into him, bouncing off of his chest and landing on the floor with a thud. I heard muttered swearwords, before a hand was extended in front of my face. "Sorry about that, To be fair however, I did warn you." A smooth, British accented voice greeted my ears and I looked up to see the one guy who could quite possibly rival Aiden's looks.

Taller than me, and I was 6'2, the guy was a good 3 or four inches higher, with a dazzling smile and a messy haircut that just barely went past his ears, a nice brown color. Warm sea blue eyes framed by long lashes completed his look, and no matter how hard I tried not to smile, it was impossible after looking at a face like that.

"Eh, I was sorta distracted in my defense." I pointed out, taking his hand and effortlessly pulling myself up. "But thanks for the apology." The guy smiled again, and I smiled with him.

"What's got you so distracted so as not to notice all this gorgeousness?" He joked, gesturing to himself. I gave him my best condescending look and spoke as one would to a child.

"We'll you see, Jayda was being mistreated by the big bad Badboy, and having decided what a nasty wasty man he was, she took her leave." Instantly the guy's happy mood vanished.

"So you're Kace's latest screw toy huh?" The venom in his voice startled me, and I took a deep breath and backed away. His eyes, which were joking seconds before, were suddenly filled with fury.

"Calm down guy who's name I don't know!" I held up my hands in the universal "Calm the Hell Down" gesture. "I am nobody's screw toy, and never have been! And besides, you just met me. No need to let me see your evil axe murderer side until AFTER you've befriended me and lured me into a false sense of security!" The attitude change was really freaking me out, and I was wondering where Stacy had gone off to that coming back for me was taking so long.

The anger in the mystery man's expression vanished, and he gave me a humor filled look. "If I were an axe murderer, I would not lull you into a false sense of security, I would freak the crap out of you and then attack you when least expected." I held up three fingers.

"One." I said, wiggling the first finger. "Freak the crap out of new girl by shouting at her. Two." The second finger went up. "Knock victim down onto the floor, therefore attacking her when least expected. Three." And finally the third finger. "Freak the crap out of girl AGAIN by calling her a screw toy." I gave him a wary look. "Hypothetically next in line would be another unexpected attack. Maybe I should just run away screaming?" That laugh was like candy personified. I had never heard one like it, and It was music to my ears.

"Well, if I had any doubts on whether or not you were with Kace, they are gone now. He doesn't date anything with a personality, so don't worry, he probably won't want into your panties anytime soon." Straightening my ruffled skirt I looked at him.

"He may not want 'in my panties', but he sure wants to burn them, or at least burn me." Recognition dawned in his blue eyes once I finished speaking, and he laughed and bowed down to me.

"New Girl, if you are the one who has driven Aiden Kace into a pissed off mood on your very first day, then it is my genuine honor to meet you. Henry Wethers at your service, and perhaps I could have an autograph?" God this guy was adorable and sexy at the same time!

"Rise fellow Kace Hater, and accompany me to the mess hall, for I have been rudely abandoned by my guide and have completely forgotten where I can get food!" It was the lamest line I could have come up with, but miraculously Henry laughed.
