Aiden's POV

I didn't like losing. In fact, If there was one thing in this entire world that I could not stand, it was when someone got the better of me. Which Jayda Werth seemed to be doing a lot of lately. And I hated it. Having just handed Leila's "outfit" back to her and slamming the door, I turned behind me where Tyler was giving me a look.
"What?" I asked innocently, tilting my head. "It could potentially make a great stripper outfit for Halloween. It was never specified that it be a normal everyday outfit!" Shaking his head, my best friend rolled his eyes and collapsed in my desk chair.
"That's not the point Aiden, you're getting in over your head. You're acting like a total pussy. Just because some girl beat you in a verbal spat doesn't mean you should swear vengeance and attempt to make her life hell. In case you haven't noticed, she isn't backing down." From my bed, Spencer looked up from his latest issue of playboy, a lazy grin on his lips.
"Oh lay the hell off Tyler, let Aiden have a little fun. It's senior year!" Blonde hair that was unruly at best and untameable at worst, Spencer could make most girls melt just by giving them the right look, but it was no secret how much he loved Stacy. Before her, he had been almost as much of a womanizer as I was, and a horrible drunk. It was a relief to everyone when Stacy interfered and set him straight. And now as Tyler turned to give him the glare he reserved especially for Spencer, I gave him the thumbs up.
"See Ty? Spence thinks I can handle it."
"Yes, because we all know how Spencer's life experiences cause him to give great advice." Lucas drawled from the corner of my room he was leaning in. With his black hair and dark eyes, no one approached Luke that often, writing him off as an antisocial jerk. But eventually Spencer and I had worn him down to the sarcastic, smart ass, soccer genius guy he was today.
"Go fuck yourself." Spencer snapped, his middle finger going up automatically. "I'm just calling it as I see it. And besides, you both know Aiden. He just fucking lost his dodgeball title, which for some reason he dearly loves, and we all know he won't rest until he's one up on Jayda." Surveying me over the picture of the scantily clad girl on the magazine cover, Spencer nodded dramatically. "Personally I think lover boy here needs a tumble in the sheets with little Miss. Jayda to calm down."
Tyler and Lucas held their straight faces for only a few seconds before they started laughing, and I clenched my fists. "Oh please." I snorted, unable to stop the image of a grinning Jayda from popping into my head. "That's the absolute last thing I need. Now come on, you're here to help me plan what we're going to have our new friend do at breakfast tomorrow."
"You really are a horrid loser." Lucas observed as my phone buzzed in my khaki pocket. Pulling it out, I couldn't stop the grin that lit up my face as I read the text from an unknown number.
Thanks for the costume dickhead, I'd suggest you go as a self centered bastard, but you play the part too well everyday for it to be a special occasion. Jumping off the bed, Spencer snatched my phone before I could react and smirked.
"Looks like Stacy gave her your number. I have to admit bro, you've got her pretty mad. We just need the cherry on top." And as he divulged his plan. It was all I could do not to run out to the courtyard and shout to the heavens. There was no way I was going to lose this time.
