"Heya ginger." Aiden drawled as I entered my first class with Stacy. "Did you enjoy your delivery?" His friends whom I had briefly met at his table yesterday snickered, clearly aware of what was going on. Stacy tugged on my arm, trying to tell me something. I turned to her, and she whispered in my ear.
"Don't let him know he got to you. He feeds off that kind of stuff." Rolling my eyes, pretending like whatever she had told me was insignificant, I smiled sweetly at Aiden.
"Actually yes." Aiden's disbelieving expression had me grinning harder. "Who knew that a college aged mover could kiss that well?" Moving over to an empty desk in the back, I blew my enemy a kiss. "And it was wayyyyy better than the one we shared yesterday." The bluff was so far out, I couldn't believe he fell for it. Aiden HAD to know how inexperienced I was from yesterday. Unless he was that dumb. Recovering quickly, Aiden smirked.
"And what was the mover bringing?" Glaring at him, I crossed my arms as Stacey sat in front of me, giving me a "don't kill the douchebag on the first day of school please" smile.
"See, THAT'S the funny thing." I stood up and tilted my head. "For some reason, my clothes were stolen from that poor guy." Aiden put a hand to his heart, as more students filtered into the plain classroom, occupying the seats.
"How truly terrible to hear that Jayda! If there's anything I can do to help, please let me know. Maybe I would be able to figure out a way to get your clothes back to you!"Winking, he took the seat on my right, A pretty Brunette girl on my left. Knowing Aiden had sat by me just to piss me off, I turned to her and started talking.
"Hey, I'm Jayda. Nice to meet you!" The girl lifted her head and stared at me with shocked green eyes. There was something eerily familiar about her, but I couldn't figure it out. Shakily, she shook her head frantically back and forth, before allowing her hair to onceagain shield her face from staring directly at anyone else.
Weird. Sighing, I took the schoolbag my Mom had left with me yesterday and removed all the AP History materials from it placing them on the desk. Just then, a small, grey haired man, with giant glasses and coffee in his hand rushed into the room.
"Hello pupils! Sorry I'm late, someone stole my school badge again. I heard Tyler give an agitated sigh and turn from his seat in the front of the classroom to scrutinize Aiden, who victoriously waved a lanyard with a picture of the guy attached. Squinting, I read the words.
"Um, Mr. Sactew?" I winced. What a truly terrible last name. When the man who was probably in his late sixties turned his attention to me, I pointed at Aiden. "It looks like Mr. Kace found your badge!" Aiden turned and gave me a death look. A joyful Mr. Sactew raced down the desk aisle towards Aiden.
"There it is! Thank you Aiden, however did you find it?" A fish out of water, Aiden gaped, no explanation ready. Clearly he wasn't used to being tattled on.
"Y'know. I just. Uh. Found it. In the. Parking lot?" It sounded more like a question than an answer, but the strange little teacher didn't seem to mind.
"Well however you found it I am forever grateful! Thank you Aiden, five extra credit points!" It was my turn to be shocked. What kind of school was this that lies weren't detected and extra credit was awarded for A FOUND BADGE?! The rest of the class was torture as I endured the strange girl next to me's furitve, terrified glances, along with sympathetic looks from Stacy and infuriatingly smug grins from Aiden.
"You are an absolutely DESPICABLE human being!" I snapped at him as the bell rang and eagerly students shoved each other trying to escape. Aiden smiled and saluted me.
"Takes one to know one Jayda!" He called out cheerfully as his friends rushed up to him and dragged him away. The timid girl with the brown hair scurried out of the room after him, Stacy behind her.
"So what did you think of Mr. Sactew?" She asked, making a face. I shuddered. Stacy laughed and started guiding me down the hallway to my next class, Chemistry. It wasn't difficult, I had learned a lot of the material last year, and I was positive it would be an easy A. English and French followed after, passing without much fanfare. It was lunch when the drama started.
"Hey Jayda!" I whirled around as I turned down another hallway, lost. Henry walked up to me, a big smile on his face. Remembering our awkward parting from yesterday I frowned apologetically and smiled.
"Hiya Henry! Sorry about yesterday, Aiden was being a real jackass." Henry nodded as if he understood and then tilted his head, eyeing all my school supplies.
"Uh, isn't it lunchtime?" He inquired politely, his lilting British accent making him sound adorable. "Because last time I checked, the gym really isn't the best place to eat."
"The gym?!" I groaned as he gestured to twin doors behind me. Sighing, I leaned against the wall and fell to the floor. "This place is so huge, I can't remember where anything is." Aiden's comment about Henry having a secret from last night was still making me curious, but I didn't want to push it. Apart from Stacy, Henry was being the nicest person to me so far at the highschool, and I couldn't lose that.
"Come on then!" Henry said brightly. "Can't have the newbie starving on her first day!" Reaching out, he hauled me to my feet and took me down 2 different flights of stairs until we reached the bustling dining hall. Determined not to get lost again, I committed the route to my memory before sitting down and eating with Stacy.
"So got any plans for how you're going to handle gym?" She asked, rolling spaghetti around her fork. Shrugging, I responded.
"Well it's not like it will be that hard. I'll just argue with her about something and be done with it." Stacy snorted.
"Ms. Xamen isn't like that. She's a real bitch. Fighting with her will be like trying to overthrow a corrupt government." Stacy finished off her meal and looked at my schedule. "Only a few periods left, you'll need all the luck you can get." Looking across the hall I locked eyes with Aiden, as he talked and joked with his posse, and resisted the urge to flip him off.
He had taken my clothes, but he could not take my pride. And if dueling with a Dictator Gym Teacher was the answer, then I really had no choice.

HEY ALL, so once again this is kind of an updated update, because my IPod keeps failing and automatically updating what I type. I'm still going through severe writers block, but still unsure about continuing the story, so please comment vote and fan and let me know how I'm doing! I also am not sure how else to make this chapter work, so whoever reads all of these chapters and has any ideas, the first person to send me a PM with an idea that I like will get this very first chapter dedication!
THANK YOU! And yeah, finally chapter 5, which I hate, is done. Chapter six will hopefully be up soon. And seriously. Still NO COMMENTS? PLEASE tell me anything you thought, good or bad. I can't improve if you all say nothing!
