Lydia's P.O.V.

I woke up to a very loud beeping sound, everything felt heavy, I groaned looking around the room, there was no one around me my hand had an IV in it, "Hello?" I croaked out, 

Trying to push myself up I flinched as pain shot up my side and my stomach...Banana, flashes of what happened last night took over, my stomach was bleeding... "Is anybody there?" I call out tiredly, "Cassie?"

Not a second later Flora walks into the room looking concerned, "Don't push yourself, honey, you're still very sensitive."

"My baby..." I whisper, "Is my baby okay?"

Flora nodded, "The baby is fine, you gave us quite a scare last night, Lydia."

Groaning I hold my side, "It still hurts a little,"

"It will, we had to give you some stitches on your side, it wasn't your stomach bleeding, it was your side. Arlo had thrown you around pretty roughly I'm guessing and because of the shock you were you didn't feel it. You do have some internal bruising though so we did do a thorough check-up for the child growing inside of you."

Letting out a relieved breath I lay my head back down, "Thank god," 

"Your parents are downstairs Lydia, I will send them upstairs, and then Flynn wants to talk to you."

My heart skipped a beat, He found out last night, didn't he? "Does he know?" I ask, Flora took a document from the file she was holding, DNA test, 

Match 100% 

Father: Flynn Cloud

Mother: Lydia Jackson 

"You should have told him, Lydia," Flora said sitting down beside me 

"I was going to tell him, Flora," I admitted, "The second I found out that I was pregnant I came over to your house and asked for him but when I got here he didn't remember me. I didn't expect him to remember me either but I just didn't want to hear that he didn't want the baby...so I took a step back and decided that I would take care of it without his help. I didn't know that him not knowing would put me in danger."

She gave me a soft smile, "Him wanting or not wanting the baby shouldn't affect your choice to keep the baby Lydia. Flynn may look tough on the outside but once you get to know him...you'll see why he is that way."

I grabbed her hand squeezing it gently, "When can I go home?"

She was about to respond but there was a knock on the door interrupting us, "Come on in," Flora said, Mom and Dad appeared through the door.

"Dia," Mom said wiping her tears away she ran over to me with Dad following behind her, "You scared us,"

I grabbed her hand kissing it, "I am sorry mom,"

Dad smiled at me, "Don't apologize, honey, we are just glad that you are safe. Flynn told us everything that happened and we are very grateful that he saved you."

Smiling I nodd, "Dad...Mom...I have to tell you something else."

They looked at me concerned "Flynn, he is the father of my child."

Mom gasped, "Dia,"

"Just listen please, it was at the college party we met, drank a little too much, and one thing led to another and Banana came into my life."

Dad clenched his jaw, "Dia we told you to stay away from boys like him but you had no right to keep his child away from him without his knowledge."

Flora stepped in, "Like you said Flynn can be a little intimidating David, it's okay."

Mom looked up at her, "Flynn took care of her, we are grateful for that but when can we take her home?"

"Not for a while," Flynn said walking into the room. I kept my gaze down as he stood beside Flora, "After what happened I don't want to take another risk with her life or my kid's life."

Flynn's gaze was burning the side of my face but I kept looking down, "It would be good if you two would move in as well or we could put security outside of your house."

Dad sighed, "I don't see how that it is necessary-" He began put Mom grabbed onto his shoulder, 

"Thank you, Flynn," Mom kissed my forehead, "I think you two have a lot to talk about, we'll see you tomorrow."

I nodd as everyone pilled out of the room one by one leaving Flynn and me alone. "Why didn't you tell me?" He asked 

Looking up at him I sigh, "Five months ago I came to tell you but you didn't remember me and I didn't want to hear that you didn't want the baby, Flynn."

"I had a right to know Lydia, whether I believed you or not." He snapped, "I would have gotten a paternity test done as we did now."

"And then what?" I snapped back, "Flynn, you're dangerous. I don't want my kid in this type of atmosphere. I want him to live a normal safe life, not a life like yours."

Flynn glared at me, "Did it occur to you that wandering around with my baby in your stomach will be dangerous?"

"Excuse me?"

"That baby of yours has MY blood running through it." Flynn said coming closer to me, "Cloud blood."

Crossing my arms over my chest, "Do you even want this baby, Flynn?"

"What I want or what I don't want isn't even a question anymore. It's too late for that." Flynn gave me a dangerous look that shook me to the core, "Every King needs an heir."

A shiver went down my spine, "I want to go."

"Not with what's mine," He said casually sitting beside me he pushed some hair away from my face I bit down on my lip out of nervousness, like always, "Now why don't you give me a refresher...when did we meet?"

Flynn tugged on my bottom lip releasing it from my painful grip on it, "And how we made the baby don't miss out on the details." 

My cheeks were burning, "Shut up..."
