Lydia's P.O.V.

I looked up at Flynn who was covering me with his body, "What is going on?" I whispered to him, the room had completely gone silent. Flynn was still looking over his shoulder, everyone was on the ground, trying to stay safe. "Flynn..."

He looked down at me with a scary look on his face, "Keep quiet Lydia," He whispered, "Just wait and watch," Letting out a deep breath I tried to sit up but he pushed me back down, "Stay still."

"The Demons are here!" Logan said sitting up, Landon hushed him as a group of three wandered around the room. The Demons? M-My family?

I looked up at Flynn shocked, I thought he knew I didn't want anything to do with my family, or with the Demons. Flynn slowly got up off of me, "Stay down Lydia," He said firmly, standing up he brushed off his coat before planting his famous smirk on his face. I watched him slowly walk towards the group of three, my heart was beating out of my chest. 

I looked over at Cassie who was hiding underneath Stefan and whispered something to her before standing up as well. Trying to stay as stealthy as possible I crawled over to her, "Are you okay?" I whispered 

"My back is killing me," She whispered back, "What the hell is going on? Who are the Demons?"

"I have a lot to catch you up on," I sighed, "But for now stay down,"

Slowly Brazen, Echo, Arya, and Allie stood up as well brushing their clothes off, "When the hell did the Demons get back in town?" Brazen asked Allie but she just shrugged, she leaned down to the both of us, "Get up girls, you are a part of the Knights now."

Groaning I stood up first helping Cassie up along with me, we followed the group towards the Demons and Flynn. Is this how I am going to meet the family I didn't even know existed? Gulping I slowly follow along hiding behind Cassie. As we got there Flynn grabbed my arm pulling me beside him. "Majesty...Noah...Harvey, this is my Luna, Lydia...Lydia Jackson."

Nervous I avoid eye contact with any of them as I grab onto Flynn's hand for some kind of support but he takes his hand away from me.  

"Be a Luna, Lydia"

Clearing my throat I extend my hand out, "Nice to meet you all,"

Majesty looked at me shocked ignoring my hand, as Noah and Harvey stood there smiling at me. "Family doesn't shake hands, Lydia," Noah said stepping closer I went to take a step back but Flynn kept me in place, Noah saw my hesitation so he backed off.

"Would someone like to tell me what the fuck is going on?" Arlo said interrupting us, Landon and Logan weren't far behind either. Arlo was standing behind us with a gun in his hand.

Harvey raised an eyebrow at him, "Put that down Arlo, you wouldn't want your recently rising empire gone to dust again now would you?" Harvey pulled out a gun of his own, but it was much bigger. 

My head was swarmed with one question, Did Flynn know that they would arrive here?

"What he means is," Landon interrupted, "What are you doing here? The three of you haven't been seen for the past 15 years, and...what do you mean by family?"

Noah clenched his jaw stepping forward, "The Demons don't come out and play with the gangs...we only come out to play when there is some serious conflict going on in the community. Where we have been is none of your concern but why we are here should be."

Logan kept Arlo from stepping forward, "Your little trap for the Knights was easy to recognize and we have been allies for a very long time. Whether we have been on the radar or not, we keep watching. Haven't you heard the verse of done fuck with the Demons before?"

Arlo glared at Flynn as Flynn chuckled clearing his threat Flynn walked around the broken glass, "Arlo...you should know better than try to attack at our house in our absence. I might be a little broken Arlo, but I still have a brain unlike you. This invitation that you sent, was a clear giveaway, but I couldn't risk others knowing that we knew that's why we showed up, and then Anaya confronting Lydia, another giveaway...you see, your little gang has a lot of holes in it. Maybe you should keep everyone in line before you try to take us on."

Arlo was fuming with anger...wait  a minute attack at the house, "Attack at the house?" I blurted out scared, "Is Hunter okay?"

Harvey stepped forward, "Hunter and Flynn's parents are alright. We had some men watching the house."

Glaring at Flynn I drank my anger away, Hunter could have been hurt because of his stupid stubbornness, if I had been there I would have protected him... but thank god everyone is alright over there. 

Logan and Landon had changed their tone as soon as they say Majesty and Noah, but Arlo still was gripping his gun tightly, "Get the fuck out of my house," He seethed, "Now!"

Majesty chuckled, "Stay in your line Arlo," She hissed as she got her own gun out, "Otherwise, this now-found compound you have here will be blown to bits."

"Out!" Arlo screamed, people who were still lying on the floor ran out of the building pushing past us, "I meant everyone,"

Flynn shrugged before gesturing everyone to leave, "Don't mess with us Arlo, this is the last time I am going to say it, the next time...you won't be alive to hear my warning."

My breath hitched at his warning Flynn pushed me out of the building we were followed by the Demons, "Let's go to my house to celebrate?" He suggested to Majesty, Noah, and Harvey. 

Majesty looked over at me, "For sure."

Exhaling sharply I walk past them and sit in the car, waiting for Flynn to arrive. "Lydia," He began but I cut him off. 

"Don't" I said quickly, "I just want to go back home to my baby,"

"You need to hear them out, "

"Fuck off," I snapped, "You had no right to bring them back into my life! no right! I am trying to keep sane Flynn, but every other week you give me another surprise. Sometimes I want to drop everything and take Hunter with me, away from you, away from all of this shit!" Flynn watched me carefully, "I don't want to be here," I admitted I was about to get out of the car but he grabbed my wrist, "Let go." He smoothly moved me over the console and onto his lap, "Flynn seriously," I said panicking but he grabbed my hands roughly so I wouldn't hit him. "Let go,"

He held my hands with one hand while the other grabbed my chin, "Look at me, Lydia,"

"Let go!" I struggled, I was panicking, my anxiety was on a whole different level, "Let go!"

Suddenly Flynn grabbed the back of my neck pulling me into a deep kiss, he locked my head in place as he coaxed my lips to move against his. My breathing slowly went back to normal as my eye fluttered shut, my body began to relax in his arms. Letting go of my hands and head he placed his hands against my waist as mine went up into his hair playing with it. Flynn groaned in pleasure as I tugged his hair gently, all the questions that were flooding my mind had completely disappeared all that mattered was him. His touch, his lips against mine...this kiss was much different than all of the other ones we had shared, it was gentle, caring...I pulled away running out of breath but it didn't faze him as he moved down to my neck, "Breath Lydia..." He whispered. 

Trying to catch my breath I tilted my neck to the side letting him work his magic, "That's it," He said gently kissing my neck before trailing back up to my lips, pecking them gently he leaned his forehead against mine, "You just have to trust me...and I know that's hard to expect from you after everything I did to you, but trust me, Lydia...I'll never let anything happen to you and Hunter...I promise."

Fluttering my eyes open I gaze into his eyes, "Promise?" I whisper

And for the first time, Flynn smiled, and it was for me, his smile was for me, "I promise."
