The party was going by well, everyone was having fun smiling, Hunter was becoming slightly fussy because it was way past his bedtime. "Let's go dance," Flynn whispered in my ear, 

"Mmh?" I say trying to lull Dimples to sleep but Flynn leaned his chin against my shoulder, 

"Let's dance,"

"Flynn, I would love to but Dimples is really sleepy,"

"Mom!" He called out, Flora smiled walking towards us, "Can you take Dimples and put him to bed, we want to dance."

Flora gently took Dimples away from me gesturing us to go to the dance floor, Flynn grabbed my hand gently taking us towards the dance floor.

Pulling me in close he rested his hands against my waist as mine wrapped around his neck, "You know this is the first time we've danced together like this.." I say smiling, "It's nice,"

Smiling he shrugged, "I'm pretty sure if I asked you before you would have said no."

"Mhm," I shake my head, "I would have said yes, but it would have led to an argument."

"That's not true,"

"It is so true, you literally used to take everything I said the wrong way, and then that would irritate me, and then we would fight. I don't think we had a civil conversation with each other until I found out about Amora,"

Flynn gave me a blank look, "You know...mom actually told me that she told you about her, I just didn't know how to bring it up in conversation without being mad about it. I tried really hard to hide from you but you didn't let me."

"Because Flynn, I knew that this front you put up...it wasn't everything to you. I knew that there had been a different Flynn hidden somewhere."

Giggling emotionally, "You are very welcome Mr. Cloud," Resting my head against his chest I felt so safe like nothing could touch me...it was strange how far we came together and the weird thing is I wouldn't change anything...

She shares my dreams, I hope that someday I'll share her home
I found a love, to carry more than just my secrets
To carry love, to carry children of our own

Relaxing completely in his arms I close my eyes letting this sense of security and protection sink in, we continued to dance together in peace when... "Attention Ladies and Gentlemen!" My eyes snapped open afraid. "How is everyone doing tonight?"

"What the fuck?" Flynn snapped angrily pushing me away slightly hiding me behind his back, scared to look up at the stage I hesitantly raised my gaze to see Arlo standing there. "How the fuck did he get inside?"
