This is chapter 2!!!! I am probably gonna skip a good amount of detail because as much as I love in-time Baudelaire's and Quagmires, I really want to tell you about the future ones!!! Sry I am really excited :)

A Very Slippery Slope

Now, you might think that it's just going to get better from here, but I am sorry to inform you that the Quagmires will be lost. But don't worry too much, they will come back!!!

Violets pov:

The next day, I woke up around 7 o'clock. I was still laying on Duncan's shoulder. I carefully got up and shook everyone awake. If we wanted to get out of here, we would have to do it soon. If only I had known then that this was one of the worse plans I've had. We went into the store, to get a change of clothes and gas for the truck. Hector was in the store too, It turns out that he didn't want to leave until we broke out of jail. As soon as we figured this out he helped us onto his hot-air mobile home, but only Duncan and Izzie made it on before Olaf showed up and we had to run. Duncan told us that they would find us again. Me, Klaus, and Sunny got in a truck that said V.F.D.

As you well know, the events of the Hostile Hospital and the Carnivorous Carnival were awful and sad. Now, if we jump ahead to the Vertically Fastened Door; we find Baudelaire standing with the mystery volunteer. Now, If you have read Lemony's work, you well know who this 'Volunteer' is. And for Violet, he looks a little too much like the person she shared her first kiss with not that many nights ago. So, as you know when Quigley Quagmire took off his mask and told them he was the survivor of the fire. Violet stood there as ever so slightly whisper-said,

"Duncan... How"

"Not Duncan, I'm the slightly better looking version, I'm his brother. Are him and Izzie safe?" He realized that if this girl knew the name of his brother, then she might know more.

"Duncan and Isadora went up in a hot air mobile home about a week ago." Klaus stated, looking at this boy who looked like a male version of his lovely poet, and a copy of his best friend.

"Survivor?" Sunny questioned, which translated to something like, How did you survive the fire?

Now, you know the story that Quigley told doesn't make sense, because there is a time gap. Which is part of the reason he is not meant for Violet. But, Quigley never comes clean about what happened, Now we will skip ahead, and it is important that you know, Violet did kiss Quigley, but she didn't feel the same after, It was about then that she realized that this boy was not Duncan. Now During the 'Grim Grotto' time period, Lemony shows you that Quigley has the sugar bowl, this is the biggest mistake of all his findings, because while Quigley may have been there, he was not the one holding the bowl. Duncan was. Now when Violet saw the face of a boy, atop the stairs, she yelled

"Quigley!" which now, she noticed that this boy's hair is straight, and when he yelled back she teared up a little.

"No, Duncan!" and from behind him someone else yelled

"And Isadora" Which made Klaus focus even more, and when one last voice spoke up, everyone knew that the Quagmires were back together.

"And Quigley!" All three of them bounded down the stairs to see their crushes, Duncan and Quigley had not talked about Violet yet, so they did not know that they had a crush on the same girl. Isadora was first down the stairs. She jumped into Klaus's arms and kissed him. They didn't care who was watching, which made it a good thing that Duncan made it down the stairs first and grabbed Violet. They also kissed even more intimately than Klaus and Izzie. Quigley now had the sugar bowl, so when he came down the stairs to find the girl he had kissed, kissing his identical brother, he figured out why she had been acting so weird after the kiss, she was in love with his brother. So he shifted his gaze over, and when he saw his sister being kissed by Klaus, he practically tackled Klaus to the ground, and said something about not touching his sister. Izzie pulled her brother off her almost boyfriend, and told him to get off of him, and that Klaus was her boyfriend, Which both Kalus and Quigley took as a shock. Klaus then said something along the lines of 'are you sure' and Izzie responded by pulling him into another kiss, which he took as a yes. Quigley just stood there looking at his siblings kissing their significant others, and him and Sunny both said 'You guys are gross'. After the Quagmire and Baudelaire reunion, Duncan and Izzie told the Baudelaire's how eagles popped the balloons on the hot air mobile home, and found Quigley, near the edge of Mount Fraught.

The Baudelaire's and Quagmires then escaped with a little row boat that, with the help of Violet's brain, they had attached a motor, and they pointed the boat to where the Cartographer said there should be land. They ended up on Briny Beach, at a crossroads, just as the Baudelaire's had not been that many months ago. In short, The Quagmires would never leave the side of the Baudelaire's again, and vice-versa.

Olaf was executed at the Hotel Denouement meeting, along with Esme. Carmelita was put in foster care, as her parents were killed. Lary-your-waiter was not cooked alive, in fact, he survived. Dewey Denouement, was sadly, still accidentally shot by Kalus and Violet. Kit had her baby, and even though she was not killed by the Medusoid Mycelium, she was weak, and she died immediately after giving birth and naming her baby Beatrice. The baby was handed to Klaus. After that, The Baudelaire's and Quagmires thanked V.F.D for everything.

"We know all of our parents were heavily involved in V.F.D" Isadora started

"But we don't want to be, and we want to start fresh," Violet said nervously, but to the point.

"We know V.F.D is a nobel organization, but our parents didn't tell us for a reason, this isn't the life we want to lead." Duncan said this and wrapped his arm around Violet's shoulders.

"We have been through alot, and we are not even adults, we thank you for everything, but" Stated Quigley, picking up Sunny as he said this.

"The world is Quiet here," Finished Klaus. The V.F.D had seen this coming. The older generation of the Baudelaire and Quagmire's had not wanted this life for their children, Duncan was right about that. Lary-your-waiter told them that he would send them to Jacqueline, who was currently the Duchess of Winnipeg. Who, while technically part of the V.F.D, no one except Larry knew that this was the house of -retired- V.F.D agent.
