The Croaking

Me: hey, Donnie!

Donnie: is this about the reading or your t-phone needing fixed... again?

Me: you were right the first time! But now I'm deciding to read it with you. *sits down next to Donnie*

Donnie: *softly blushing* o-okay!...

Me: *looks up at Donnie* unless there's anything wrong with it-

Donnie: *eyes widen* *shaking head fast* no! N-Nothing wrong with it at all!!

Me: *smiling* great! *holds t-phone for both me and Donnie to read* we're looking at the Frog-Fiasco, Donnie.

Donnie: "Frog-Fiasco"-?

Me: "I'm having fun with Mikey as everyone else is on a nature walk, so that means right now is basically fun time with no interruptions. As I jump on the couch a bit I see Mikey loving the show Crognard, but looking around the room I see it's messed up"-

Donnie: does that mean we take turns?

Me: *nods*

Donnie: okayyy- "jumping over the couch Louisa's eyes widened as she stopped Mikey from doing anything else"-

-at a specific part of the story-

Donnie: did you really have to cover for Mikey though??

Me: he covered for me when we were in that Kraang Stealth ship. I kinda had to...

Donnie: I will KILL Jones for saying such hurtful stuff about you. You're the strongest one out of all of us. Powers or no powers, they just helped you believe in yourself. They got you to your true potential!

Me: *nervously laughs* th-thanks, Donnie. But let's keep reading *looks down at the t-phone* dang, I forgot about the note I left

Donnie: I, on the other hand, did not.. *looks down at the t-phone* even if you were leaving us you helped out with Mikey.

Me: I couldn't just let him wander the forest on his own! That's only something a bad sibling would do. *looks down at the t-phone* oh yeah, Mikey's frog friend. I forgot about him

Donnie: you saved Mikey from a frog attack??

Me: yeah-

Donnie: you really are a nice person... *looks back at the t-phone* you even followed Mikey without him knowing?! Awesome!

Me: *chuckles* it was nothin *gets back to reading* oh yeah, the mess. Sorry I left y'all to deal with it-

Donnie: it's fine, after reading the letter I completely get it. I would've done the same *looks down at the t-phone* you and Baxter really have gotten close. He even defended you before I could!

Me: yeah.. he's the best. *looks back at the t-phone* so you did find the note first!

Donnie: h-here, let me read this part! *tried to take the t-phone away from Louisa*

Me: no, it's fine - I got it! *gets out of Donnie's reach* wait... you cried a little at my note?

Donnie: *softly blushing* y-yeah... I just hate that we made you feel that way. That you even felt that way to begin with. Because you're not a burden to us, Louisa. You're so much more than that.
