Battle For New York (part 1 & 2) [Part 1/2]

Since the story is 10 chapters I had to make this "Donnie reads" 2 chapters.. you're welcome-

Me: Donnie!! *runs in the lab*

Donnie: *flinched* *drops a beaker filled with liquid* *yelps*

Me: *eyes widen* *throws t-phone at Donnie* *dives for the beaker* *barely caught it* ... I got it-

Donnie: Louisa, what did I say about randomly barging in here?? *grabs the beaker* *sets beaker in a safe spot* *helps Louisa to her feet*

Me: definitely.. don't do it *smiles innocently*

Donnie: *softly blushed* *shakes his head* *playfully rolls eyes* why'd you barge in though??

Me: it's time to read! *grabs t-phone* *sets t-phone on the desk*

Donnie: *sighs* I should've known. So, what am I reading today? *grabs the t-phone*

Me: Battle For New York!... parts one and two-

Donnie: that took so long it was two episodes?!...

Me: yeah, pretty much.

Donnie: *starts reading* wait, why is this chapter called "Tut tut"?

Me: *chuckles* Mikey-

Donnie: I should've known- *looks back at the t-phone* you say you can barely hold your own weight when I've seen you actually hold it-

Me: what? When??

Donnie: I think it was right after we met the Chimera. Baxter, April, you and I were there.

Me: oh yeah-

Donnie: *goes back to reading* what does he mean "flow of intelligence"? He got lucky!

Me: he did accomplish somethin you didn't-

Donnie: *knew Louisa was gonna say that* *kept reading anyways* how did no one wake up from your muffled screams and Mikey talking out loud?

Me: I dunno *shrugs shoulders*

Donnie: *keeps reading* I remember this, I'm just going to skim *scrolls a bit* wait a second- you and April had a random hate towards the other?

Me: yeah, I got used to it. I don't remember if we still have it though

Donnie: *groans* you have got to communicate with us more

Me: meh *shrugs shoulders*

Donnie: *goes back to reading* wait, is this when-

Me: when we were together? Yeah.

Donnie: *goes back to reading* *scrolls a bit again* you guys doubted my blimp in disguise!... also, this is probably when Leo finally realized to trust you more for missions

Me: I am pretty great, huh? *flexed muscles* YEAH! *chuckles*

Donnie: *thinks oh my gosh, that was too adorable-* *blushed* *shakes head* *nervously laughed* you already know what I think of you
