"PLEASE GIVE IT UP FOR MIRANDA BAILEY" the host shouted, walking out on a stage for the fist time not knowing that this moment would change her life forever.

"Miranda come on get up you have to be at the studio in an hour girl!!" her mama yelled walking into her room

"Mama how did you get into my house" Miranda said rubbing her eyes

"Don't worry about that now get up!" She yelled

"Oh I'm gotta kill Callie" Miranda sighed throwing the covers from over her body and swigging her legs off the bed Miranda got up and went to the bathroom to handle all her business before going down stairs.

"Good morning mama" Miranda said walking into the kitchen

"Good morning Mandy, I made you some breakfast I got pancakes, sausages, bacon, eggs and biscuits"

" what kind of bacon" Miranda ask

"Applewood your favorite"

"Good morning Miranda" Joseph said

Miranda just looked at him and then went into her refrigerator for some juice

" Miranda have some manners" her mama said

"Good morning Joseph" she sighed

Joseph is her stepdad who she doesn't really like, her mom and dad divorced when she was 6 and her mother remarried when she was 10 but her father had a long time girlfriend ever since she was 8.

"Good morning family" Callie said walking into the kitchen

Callie is Miranda's best friend they have been best friends since pre-K

"Morning" everyone said

"Are you coming to the studio with me today?" Miranda asked Callie

"Yeah" Callie said eating her food

"What all are you doing today Mandy" her mother asked

"The studio, shopping and then rehearsal for the show tomorrow"she said

"Okay well while you are gone I'm gonna clean up around here" her mother said

"Mommy there's nothing wrong with my house" Miranda said looking around

"Yes there is, now go get ready or you're going to be late" she said taking Miranda and Callie's empty plates

Looking at her phone she saw it was 9:30am. Getting up Miranda and Callie went upstairs to get dress

"Miranda Bailey what do you have on" her mother said

"What do you mean" Miranda said looking down at her outfit

"Sweats and a hoodie Miranda" her mother said

"How are you gonna find a man in sweatpants I told you, you have to look presentable everywhere you go because you never know when you'll find a man" her mother added on

"Ma it's cold outside and I already have a boyfriend Tucker remember" she said

"Tucker doesn't count I've already told you to leave that boy alone" her mama said

"Not today mama bye love you" she said walking out the door

*At the Studio*

"Alright Miranda we're gonna run it back one more time okay"

"Okay" she said putting on her headphones

"Ready when you are Ej" Miranda said then music started
