Chapter 2

"Hey Ben you think you can cover my shift tonight?" Kacie asked

"May I ask why you need me to cover your shift" Ben asked

"If I'm being honest you know the singer Mandy" she asked

"The little mean one everyone always talk about"

"Yup, she has a concert tonight and my boyfriend bought us tickets and I really want to go" she said praying that Ben would take her shift

"I don't know why y'all people like this Mandy girl so much I saw the things they say about her I can't" he said shaking his head

"She maybe a bad person or whatever, but her music is good I remember watching her on TV when I was younger she's always been good" josh added in

"Josh stay back there" Kacie said

"We can't go assuming stuff just because of social media, but anyway you'll take my shift" she looked at Ben

"Yeah I guess" he sighed

"Ohh thank you, thank you Ben I'll take your afternoon shift tomorrow I promise" she said hugging him

"Yeah Yeah now go before I change my mind" he said

"Man you crazy, I was not taking nobody else shift and I was working all day Yeah something is definitely wrong with you" Josh said

"Josh stay your ass in the back please" Ben said going back to work

"Y'all ready for tonight?" Miranda asked everyone as they closed up there last rehearsal before the show

"Hell yeah"

"Yesss"

Everyone answer

" I have a good feeling about tonight, I'm ready" her manager said

"Well everyone go on and go we'll see y'all tonight" Miranda said grabbing her bag and leaving

"Miranda I already have a car waiting for you Callie will drive your car home" Jackie said

"Jack I told you I like to drive myself" Miranda said looking around and seeing her car wasn't in the lot

"I know but we need to go over your schedule" Jackie said opening the door for Miranda

Rolling her eyes she got in the car

" okay so after tonight's show all we're going to worry about is your studio time and then you have a mini tour for the next two months while on tour you have a couple of interviews okay" Jackie said

"Yeah okay" Miranda sighed

"What's wrong mandy"

"I was just hoping to have some type of free time you know time to myself" she said

"Sweetie In the world you live in there's no such thing as free time love, but I'll move something things around and see what I can do. Now you know your mom isn't gonna like this" Jackie said

"I'll talk to her, you just worry about tryna get me some free time please" Miranda said. After a while the car finally came to a stop and was opened my her driver Rico.

"Thanks Rico" Miranda said getting out the car

"No problem boss lady, have a nice day" he said closing her door

"Jackie you coming in" Miranda turned around to ask

"No, I have to go make sure everything is together for tonight go try and get some rest" Jackie said then rolling up the window while Rico pulled out the front gate
