Chapter 10

Finally back home Ben stayed at Mirandas place for a couple of nights.

"So how do you think the song's gonna turn out?" Ben asked as Miranda was laying on top of him

"I think it's gonna be good I mean we stayed up in that studio for hours it better be good" she laughed

"Mmm, I think it'll be great because your beautiful voice is all in it" he kissed the top of her head

"Thank you, baby" she smiled

The next morning Miranda woke up to an empty bed looking at her phone she saw the time and a message from Ben saying he had to work. Getting out of bed she went to the bathroom to take care of her hygiene, got dressed, and went down stairs

"Good morning young lady" she heard her moms voice

"Morning ma and how did you get in here?"

"Well your little friend let me in on his way out" she smiled

"Don't call him my "little friend" please" Miranda laughed "I'm going out see you later" she added

"Wait you're not gonna eat?" Her mom asked

"No ma'am, I'm getting something out see you later" Miranda said about to walk out the door

"Hold on don't forget you have a interview tomorrow" her mom yelled

"Okay" was all she said before closing the door behind her

Driving to the diner where Ben works, she got out and walking in

"Hey baby" Josh smiled at her

"Hey" she laughed

"Josh don't get knocked out man go back in the back" Ben said coming around the counter

"I'm just playing" he laughed walking away

"Hey" Miranda laughed

"Hey baby" he kissed her

" I woke up and you were gone" she looked up at him

"Yeah...they called me in early this morning, but I get at 2 so"

"Good because, I want to go back skating tonight" she smiled

"Didn't you bust your butt the first time" he laughed

"That was back then and this is now" she rolled her eyes at him

"Okay we'll go. You hungry or anything?"

"Yes, I am can you make my food please" she smiled up at him

"Okay sit at the counter and I'll go make it" he kissed her lips and walked away

After her breakfast she went back home and waited for Ben to get off work

"Hey Miranda, you busy today?" Callie asked walking into her room

"Yeah me and Ben are going out"

"Alright and don't forget your interview tomorrow we can't be late" Callie said

"Yessss I know, I know".

"Miranda the next time you fall you going down by yourself" Ben laughed

"I wouldn't be falling if you'd stop letting me go" she laughed

"Okay come on lets take a break" Ben said skating both off the floor and to a table

"You having fun?" Ben asked

"Yes, thank you for bringing me" she kissed him

"Miranda?" She heard her name being called out. Looking up she saw Tucker walking towards them.
