Chapter 7

*two weeks after the tour*

"Hey Ben" Callie said walking into the diner

"Hey Callie" he smiled

"I came to invite you to my birthday party this weekend" Callie said taking a seat at the counter

"Your party?"

"Yeah"

"I don't know Callie" he sighed

"Ben come on"

"I know Miranda's gonna be there"

"Yeah she is, she's my best friend but you're not there for her you're there for me hits why I said MY birthday party" Callie said

"Fine I'll be there..... for you" he smiled

"Yay and don't forget to bring a gift, I'll text you the location and more details later bye" Callie said leaving

"Miranda!" Callie yelled walking into the house

"Callie that's too loud" Miranda said coming down stairs

" I need to talk to you"

"About" she said sitting on their couch

"Ben"

"Nope"

"Miranda sit down and listen please" Callie rolled her eyes

"What" she sat

"Okay I know you and Ben left off bad but he's coming to my party and I want you to talk to him and apologize so we all can be cool again"

"What the hell am I apologizing for Callie" Miranda scrunched her face

"For how you dogged him out, he didn't deserve that"

"Who side are you on exactly"

"Right now his, you were wrong as hell so you're gonna apologize" Callie shrugged

"You're not my mama"

"Whatever because if she was here she would said the same thing"

" you right I guess" Miranda sighed

"I know I am"

*Callies party*

Miranda was nervous because she hasn't seen or talked to Ben ever since she came back from the tour. The party was live everyone was having fun and dancing.

"Happy birthday Callie" Ben said coming up behind her

"Yay you made it and thank you" she hugged him

"Happy birthday miss"

"Oh Callie I hope you don't mind this is Josh" Ben said introducing them

"Not at all and thank you"

Looking around the room it was packed but Ben was looking for one person and one person only

"She's here somewhere" Callie said

"What are you talking about"

"I know who you are looking for" she laughed and walked away

Ben laughed and looked up at the stage when he saw Miranda standing there with a mic in her hand

"Hello everyone can i have your attention" she said and the room got silent

"I just wanted to come up here and say happy birthday to my best friend in the whole wide world, I couldn't ask for anyone better she has been there for me through my ups and downs and I wanted to tell you how much I love and appreciate you so I wrote this song just for you" Miranda said as she looked at the dj to play the music.
