Chapter 11

Sitting in the studio with Ej and Callie, Miranda was listening to her takes she did on her new song.

"I like that one" Callie said as the music stopped

"Yeah, I agree way better than the last one" Ej said

"Okay so we'll keep that one and work on the next verse tomorrow?" Miranda asked

"Can't tomorrow. Saturday?" Ej asked

"We can't do Saturday that's the day of the release party for My First Love" Callie said "are you coming Ej?" Callie asked

"You know I'm in there"

"Damn. We don't do Sundays so Monday?"

"I can do Monday" Ej laughed "Well, I gotta bounce see y'all Saturday and Monday" Ej said grabbing his things and walking out

"Okay so back to this Party....do you have an outfit?" Callie asked

"No, I don't"

"Let's go we're going to the mall...and are you inviting Ben?"

"I didn't ask him. You think I should?"

"Duhhhh Miranda" Callie said as they walked out of the studio, out the building to the car that was waiting for them

"You think we should go get him to go out with us for a new outfit?"

"Yeah, but I don't know where he lives" Miranda sighed

"Give me his full name and I'll have the address for you in 5-10 minutes" Callie said taking out her phone. Miranda told her his full name and 5 minutes later she had an address.

"Rico, take us to this address please" Callie said handing him her phone

"Yes ma'am"

"Hold up. How did you get that mans address?"

"Girl, I got people out here" Callie said and laughed when she saw the way Miranda looked at her.

"Whatever" Miranda laughed

Driving for a while Rico pulled up to an apartment complex.

"These are nice" Callie side looking out the window

"Yeah they are"

"His building is is down that way" Callie pointed

Driving into a parking spot Rico cut the car off

"Which one is his?" Miranda asked

"G27" Callie said

Miranda got out and walking up the stairs to his door, she knocked and waited for him to open it.

"Who is it?" She heard

"Open and see" she said smiling

"Special delivery" she said laughing once he opened the door

"Hey, what are you doing here" he hugged her

"I came to get you"

"Wait a minute how did you get my address?" Ben asked pulling her in

"Callie" she laughed looking around she said "this is a nice apartment for someone working at a diner" Miranda said

"Gotta work hard for what you want" he shrugged pulling her into his arms

"Callie and Rico are waiting so go put some clothes on and let's go" she kissed him

At the mall Miranda bought all of them me outfits for the party on Saturday. Ben tried to buy his own things but Miranda insisted on getting them.
