"So how's everything going?" Ej asked as he and Miranda were talking while they took a break from recording
"It's going good, I have my tour coming up, new album's finish. Somethings are good"
"Somethings? What's not good?" He asked
"Everything in her love life! How she's miserable without he who's name I shall not speak" Callie said walking in
"Can you stop ease dropping?" Miranda asked
"Nope"
"And my love life is just fine thank you"
"If you say so" both Ej and Callie said
"Y'all are haters"
"Anyways! Guess who I saw and talked to today" Callie said sitting her things down
"Who?"
"Ben, I invited him to the album release party. You're welcome" she smiled to Miranda
"Why on god's green earth would you do that?" Miranda sighed
"Because...why not"
"Petty" Ej laughed and went back to working on somethings.
"I was thinking we perform our song baby, what you think?" Dante asked as he and his manager was working on his show list for his concert
"You think they would want to hear it?" She asked
"Of course they would" he kissed her cheek
"Can I talk to you in private Dante?" Miranda asked
"Yeah, uh T can you give us a minute"
"Yeah" he said and walked out
"Everything good? What's wrong?"
"Okay, I'm just gonna tell you so you don't be surprised"
"What's wrong?"
"Callie invited Ben to the release party" Miranda sighed
"Why does she always have to be petty?"
"I'm sorry babe" she said
"No, it's okay as long as we know who we are with and love that's all that matters. Right?" Dante smiled at Miranda
"Right" she kissed him
*Release Party*
Walking into the building, Ben looked around
"This is nice" he said
"It is, I love that-"
"Ben?" he heard from behind cutting off his date
"Callie, hey-"
"Who is this?" Callie asked looking at the girl
"This is Zoey-" he tried to say but was interrupted
"So you're just out here dating the both of us? I'm sorry sweetie, but he's mine" Callie pulled Ben away looking at Zoey
"Whatever" Zoey said and walked out
"Why would you do that?"
"Why would you invite her? I invited you nobody else" Callie rolled her eyes
"Now come on and enjoy the party, I have a surprise for you" she smirked and walked away
An hour into the party Callie dragged Ben to the bar
"Stay here, I'll be back" she walked away
"Hey, Miranda can I talk to you really quickly?" Callie asked walk up to her
"Uh yeah, what's wrong?" Miranda asked walking with her
"Oh shot! Stay right here, I'll be right back" Callie said and walked away leaving Miranda at the bar confused.
"Hey man, let me get a shot of grand marnier" she heard the voice she was longing to hear in a long time
Turning she saw him looking fine as ever in his all gray three piece suit
"Ben?"
Hearing that voice, his name being said made him turn quickly around to see the one and only
"Miranda"
"Uh...hey Callie told me she invited you, I didn't think you would actually come" she smiled
"She told me it was just a regular party" he shrugged
"It's actually a release party for my album, I'm gonna be singing a few songs off of it"
"That's good" he smiled
"Hey, you gotta get ready for the performance" Her background singer Jess said
"Okay, I'll be there"
"Oh my gosh! Hey Ben how you been" Jess asked giving him a fist bump
"I'm good" he smiled as she walked away
"Y-you staying for the performance?" Miranda asked nervously
"Sure" he shrugged
After performing two songs Miranda calmed down and spoke into the mic
"Uh, this song I'm about to sing mean a lot to me and I really do hope you guys like it" she said and as the beat drop, she looked out into the crowd searching for one person and one person only. Finally spotting him they locked eyes as she sung

" Thank you, and thank you all for coming" she said as the music faded out. Smiling at him, he smiled back as she walked off stage disappearing into the back.
The rest of the party Ben tried to talk to and get Miranda attention, but she was getting pulled here and there by different people so, he decided to give it a break.
"I finally found you! Did you talk to her?" Callie asked
"No, she was busy every time I tried" he sighed
"Wait here, I'll get her" Callie said about to walk away, but was stopped when Ben softly grabbed her arm
"Just forget about it" he sighed
"What! No Ben come on" Callie begged
"No Callie, just leave it alone" he said, and he walked away
Callie sighed as she watched Ben leave the party.
