What is a Tulpa? :

The term Tulpa is tibetan and refers to beings, that become psychic reality through a idea, willpower and strong believe in it. They usually arise in the joint collective of thoughts but they can spring out of the thoughts of the individual if the will is strong enough.
The creating of Tulpas can be divided into 3 phases. Prerequisite is an enormous concentration and visualisation. There are risks when Tulpas take physical form develop their own will besides the natural desire to continue to exist. Even small distractions can irrevocable spoil the result.

Three phases to create a Tulpa:

1. The image of the Tulpa exist as an unstable thought. In this state it is very variable. Their thought can best be compared to a chisel. Now imagine piece of marmor stone (THAT IS THE SHAPE OF THE TULPA). The smallest lack of concentration can have devastating effects on their Tulpa.

2. The Tulpa is taking on a firm form within the world thought. It forms its own consciousness and can appear as a conceit, but never have an impact on the physical world. They are often mistaken in this state with hallucinations, usually only those who share the idea show up.

3. The Tulpa can now exist outside the world of thoughts. This condition depends on the constant supply of faith in the Tulpa. When the stream dries up, the Tulpa lose his physical shape again.

According to the theories of Tulpa creation, some phenomena that cannot explained by science can now be explained.

Slenderman and the Tulpa Theory:

In relation to Slender Man, the idea of intentional creation of Slender Man as a Tulpa came as early as August of 2009, as the idea was first thrown around in the Something Awful forums. The idea is still carried today by some Slender Man-based communities, specifically Slender Nation, although the various separate evolutions of the Slender Man creature have created varying beliefs, traits, descriptions, and actions, and no longer includes a single unified description of Slender Man from which a Tulpa could be created.
The Core Theory centers around the idea that the Slender Man was created as a Tulpa in some way in the various ARGs, and acts as an in-game reasoning as to its existence and slight differences among the various series.
