Love. Something I still quite don't understand.
After 6000 of years...
Love is something you give someone you admire, you wanna be with, someone you care for.
Love can be the best thing that happened to you but also the worst feeling.
Love...
How does love feel?
I asked myself that quite often and after some certain orange haired boy from Snehznya came to Liyue I thought I knew what love meant.
He gave me affection after all.
I craved for it, I've longed for it.
For his affection, for his touch..
He made me crazy, let me think about things I usually wouldn't.
I would even say I wanted to spend my mortal life with him.
He also seemed to enjoy the time with me..

'WHY DID YOU DO THAT-'

I woke up.
Another nightmare...
But why?
Why? Why now?
I thought..
No.
I stood up. It was morning nearly noon.
I sighed.
Made myself ready for the day, looking into my mirror image.
I sighed again.

'Get over this Xiansheng'

I can do this.
I got out of my room to the full streets of Liyue.
I walked to the Wanmin Restaurant.
We shared so many memories there...
I sat on a place drinking a cup of tea, enjoying the peace until...

"Look dear, it's Zhongli Sensei!"

A couple ran over to me, both of them very familiar to me, especially the orange haired.

I looked at them, gave them a small smile.
They sat next to me also ordering.

"What a surprise to see you here!! I didn't saw you for a long time."
The orange haired seemed very happy with my appearance.

I nodded.
"Indeed it was.."
I mumbled.

"Oh, you should know Lumine after all right?"

"Yeah, we also had some little talkings."
I just said.

Their food came.
I watched them, feeling like the third wheel.
In fact that I AM the third wheel.
I drank my tea till the last drop and wanted to pay so I can leave them alone.

"Hey, Zhongli Sensei, you may stay a little. Since it was some time ago since we saw each other.."

I looked at him and then at the traveller the traveller gave me a warm smile..
I sighed in defeat.

"Fine.. but I can't stay too long, I still have some business left."

Childe seems to be excited about that.
We talked... no he and Lumine did and I just listened.

Love...
Love can be cruel...
Some people play with your feelings for their own good.
Some people might just drop you for someone else.
Love, for fucks sake, love is pain.

'WHY DID YOU NEEDED TO LEAVE ME?!'

I shook my head, it was afternoon now..
We walked trough the streets from Liyue.
The atmosphere weren't good.
No one really dared to say a word.
This continued until we made a little stop at a shop, Lumine and Childe looked around and I just stood there.
Watching them both in silence.

Love...

'I don't.. I don't understand why did you-'

He laughed.

'Did you really thought that I would have the same feelings for you.. you're so stupid'

His eyes were filled with anger and yet with some amusement.

Why?...

Someone called for me, I looked up and saw the orange haired boy infront of me.
Way too close for my own good.
He looked worried.

"Are you okay Zhongli Sensei?"

"I am. No need to worry."

Atleast he's happy..
His happiness is my happiness.
Isn't this what loved ones would say?

'YOU BASTARD-'

A slap. A hard slap on his cheek. That's what he deserved isn't it?...

I shook my head. It was eve now.
The streets getting emptier and emptier.

"It was nice to see you again Zhongli Sensei, we need to go now! We may see each other again."

They both waved at me I just gave them a weak smile.
Him and Lumine..
They both looked happy together..

Love..
After more than 6000 years..
I've been on this land for more than 6000 years, it does not hurt anymore..

My eyes became watery..
A small sob escaped my lips.

It shouldn't hurt anymore...

Woahhhh that was a small one >^<
