Zhongli's PoV;

The mortal life didn't fascinated me to be honest.
I've been wondering how they could express their feelings, in fact that I'm not good at showing feelings towards others.
Until some female god went by and started work with me by my side.
She was indeed kind hearted and wise..
She always were so interested into mortal stuff.
She tried to understand them which she indeed did.

I asked her once why she cared so much about humans and why she was so interested in them and her answer simply was;

"I love how they express their feelings towards people they care about, like I care about you dear Morax.. the way they show each other love and how they enjoy the little things about life. I envy them for living such a life..."

She sighed taking my hand into hers.
She kissed my cheek and smiled softly at me.

"You're gonna understand that feeling one day dear Morax I promise you."

The last words I spoke with her..
Oh dear Guizhong..
I wish we could talk again with each other, I finally understand why you did like humans so much I understand their feelings now.
I wish I could see you smile one last time...

I looked at her grave one last time..
I should bring some new glass lilies soon the ones here are all old and wilted.

I woke up from those memories looking around me, I need to stop thinking about that.

I simply replied.

Childe simply just shrugged it off and started to drift off again.

I stood up and went to the window to open it and looked into the sky, the stars shine bright tonight.

"Dear Guizhong, I do understand your obsession with humans now. I do understand why you did envied the mortal life so much. And most importantly.. I do understand love now dear.."

I smiled into the sky, Guizhong, if we only could talk one last time-

Someone suddenly hugged me from behind that someone, to be more specific, being Childe.

I simply nodded and turned around to hug him.

He cutted me off with an kiss.
A small kiss but with a lots passion, I returned the kiss, melted into it, melted into his touch.

I understand how love feels now and now does it feel to be loved.

Years passed by since that night.
I kinda forgot about her..

I mean I shouldn't think of her right, I have him after all.

Childe and I were currently cuddled up in bed when he suddenly cleared his throat.

"We need to talk Xiansheng."
