"This was the dumbest idea you ever had Childe."
The black haired guy said freezing his ass to death in dragonspine.

"We both gonna catch a cold and freeze to death if we don't find something like an campfire soon."
The man rubbed his arms.

"Relax, Zhongli sensei, we're gonna find a place to get us warm and rest soon. Just be a little patient."
Childe said with an small grin on his face.
Zhongli is usually a calm and patient person but he's freezing his legs to death and he just want some rest.
He still doesn't really know why Childe wanted to be here after all.
Does he miss his home?
Does he miss Snehznya so much?
Zhongli shook his head.
Some minutes later and some more complaining later they both finally found a place to rest, getting themselves a little fire and sitting underneath that tend that were already there.
Zhongli is still freezing like crazy he just wants to leave.

"I hate you for dragging me here. Do you miss Snehznya so much-"
He got cut off with an small kiss from Childe.

"I'm sorry love, and yes I do miss Snehznya.. I'm sorry for dragging you into dragonspine we may leave soon then-"
This time Childe got cut off with an small kiss from Zhongli.

"It's okay, after all we spent time together and that's what counts..."
He whispered leaning onto childe and watched the fire infront of them.

He should have been more sensitive with that, after all it was some time he were in Snehznya..

Zhongli indeed enjoyed this tho.
Both of them doesn't have that much time together due work and stuff that's why he enjoys any second he can get with his beloved one, Childe.
He shouldn't have complained about this.
Dragonspine can be such a beautiful place if you ignore the cold and all the monsters. It do be a good place to be alone with your beloved one.
Tho Zhongli prefers to be at home with Childe just cuddling and doing nothing.
Zhongli sighed, not in a bad way, closing his eyes dozing off, Childe smiling softly.
Yes, he miss Snehznya, more importantly his family.
He really asks himself how is family is doing.
They didn't send letters to each other in a while.
I mean of course he had his boyfriend but yet he wanna go back there and visit his family.
He doesn't wanna drag Zhongli there tho...

It's getting later and later and Zhongli finally woke up from his little nap he did, yawning.

"How long have I been sleeping?" He asked the orange haired boy.

"Around an hour or so, we may leave now it's getting pretty late and I don't want you to freeze here."

He took Zhongli hand in his and together they both left Dragonspine making their way to Liyue.
It was indeed a long way to get there but they did it when the sun came out again, they both sighed finally being able to be in their warm and soft bed, cuddling each other for more warmth.
Childe kissing Zhonglis forehead as an way to say good night.
Both of them slept well and peacefully waking up at afternoon..

Childe sneezing.

"Bless you-"

Another sneeze, Zhongli sighing.

"You catched a cold didn't you? Jeez I told you-"

"I'm sorry hehe.. seems like I can't work-"

He got cut off from a sneeze from Zhongli.

"I think we both can't work the next quite time.. I'm making us tea."

He stand up, still feel like he's freezing, normal after all he catched a cold.

Childe immediately followed him and hugged him from behind.

"Seems like we have some quite time for us to enjoy huh?"

"Indeed, I have nothing against it tho."
Zhongli smiled being kinda happy about that.

"You know what, forget about the tea."

Childe dragged Zhongli back into the bedroom throwing him immediately on it and followed him afterwards. He held Zhongli by his waist and pulled him closer burying his face into Zhonglis chest.

"Cuddling is the best medicine dear Xiansheng."
Childe yawned a sneeze followed afterwards.

"If you say so my beloved Ajax."
Zhongli smiled throwing the blanket over both of them burying his face into Childes neck.
Yes, he really enjoyed having Childe so close to him.
Having some time with him and only him.
It wasn't a bad idea after all..
They can spend time together after such a long time, tho they're sick but it doesn't really matter at this point.
They both drifted off.
Having each other in their embrace.
