BOY OR GIRL?

Jb's pov

I had arranged for a gender revel party for Maci i was so excited to see what we would be having and i know she was to, i had called up her childhood friend Lexie to fly down and help out with the arrangements, today was about to be the big day, Maci was still in bed due to her being hella tired from all the recent the travel and just simply following Bella around, Bella woke up shortly after i made my morning rounds and came outside with me i took this time to talk to her a little one on one dad and daughter talk, we walked out to the barn and i saddled up her favorite horse and we went riding. 

JB: Bella honey i want you to know that the baby that Maci and i are having isnt going to replace you in any way youll always be my girl no matter what i promise. 

Bella: i know Daddy im just so excited to finally have someone else to play with besides Maci though she does a good job of keeping me entertained 

Jb: well today were having a big party for her so we can find out if youre going to have a sister or a brother 

she smiled with pure excitement and i knew then that she would not feel replaced but she would have a little sibling and  companion for life. 

Maci's pov

i woke up late when i mean late im talking about noon late Bella and JB no where to be seen must be out doing chores i slowly stood up and threw some leggings, a t shirt, and a hat on too my surprise i saw my friend Lexie outside talking to JB and little Bella riding her horse who she had named Sprinkle i smiled and made my way towards them to see what was going on, Lexie turned to me and yelled surprise i embraced her in a big hug and she explained why she was here

Lexies pov:

Well miss Maci im sure youre wondering why im here from montana and that would be because in a couple of hours youll be find out what kind of bun is in that oven so lets hurry along and go find an outfit for today

with that the girls including miss Bella who decided she wanted to help as well headed inside to gear Maci up for todays events

Maci's pov: 

I could not believe JB called Lexie to come down and help set this up i was so excited that he would do something like this for me, I walked back into the house after being told I wasn't allowed to snoop, I walked upstairs to go find Bella a dress she had both a blue and a pink one i set both on her bed and chose to let her choose what she wanted to wear, I personally wanted another girl deep down inside but i was fine with whatever god wanted to bless us with, I threw on a pink sundress and some sandals and went to do my hair and make up for the day i looked down at my bump and just smiled i never thought i would make it to this day, I started out as a just a nanny and now here i am in love with such and amazing man. 

time skip to later at the party

JB's pov

i was so excited to pull all of this off for Maci i knew it met a lot to her to have Bella already, but this new baby was a blessing as well tho unplanned we will make the best of this and give them both a great life, finally after about 2 hours Lexie was ready for the big party to take place, i walked in to go get Maci and we headed out to the back yard for the big reveal, Maci looked so pretty she was wearing a long pink sundress i knew she deep down wanted another girl, but either way she would be happy i just knew it, we walked over to everyone, i could tell she was nervous but ready to know just as i was, Bella was running around with some of the others children. We sat down and started talking with everyone Maci was biting at the nip to find out so i stood up and said to the chutes we got we were gonna have a bull come out the shoot and buck to and wait for the color to appear, once everyone gathered Dereck and I let the bull out in seconds blue powder was every where i looked over at Maci who was in tears and said its a boy baby, i was so happy to have a son, we would finally be complete and have our own child together, Maci was adopting Bella everything was setting into place for us i was truly happy
