Unexpected

Heading home

Maci's pov

JB and i had returned from our lovely honeymoon it was so nice to spend time with him away from the events and just away in general for a couple days though, i really did miss our girl, we finally made it back to montana and went to go pick up Bella from his parents home as soon as we pulled in the drive way Bella came running out screaming.  I chuckled as JB picked her up and said "hi princess, im guessing you missed us?" she smiled and shook her head yes.  Lynne soon came out and gave us hugs and we followed her back into the house to sit down and talk about how the honeymoon went, after a while of cutting it up JB kinda just looked at me then started in, so mom Maci and i have some news. 

JB's pov

It was kinda like a now or never thing so i just spoke up saying that we have some news my mom just kinda stopped in her tracks, i had a feeling she could already guess what we had to say, i called Bella into her living room and told her to sit down and listen she did as told, well we have some very big news sweetie you are gonna be a big sister she started screaming and running around screaming omg omg omg i cant waitttt, mom smiled and said congrats but a mother knows and i have been wondering for about a month now. we stood up and gave each other hugs and i gathered Bella's things up and put them in the truck i thanked my mom for keeping her over the last couple days and headed to the truck to go home, this time we were going home as an official family, smiled to myself and grabbed Maci's hand.  Once we made it home i noticed that Dereck was there feeding i pulled in and let the girls go in the house to chill and walked out to the barn to talk with him for a couple minutes. 

Dereck: hey JB i didn't expect you to be home already 

JB: yeah we only stayed gone for a couple days, we got an event to gear up for this weekend

Dereck well while you were gone everything went smoothly and the ranch is looking pretty good

JB: i smiled and thanked him, also Dereck guess what, im gonna be a dad again 

Dereck: no way dude that is awesome im so happy for you two

JB: i know right, anyways i better help them get unpacked, ill see ya bright and early tomorrow 

with that the two shook hands and parted ways

Macis pov

Bella was so excited to be a big sister which i was very thankful for considering the fact that its always just been her i didnt want her to feel replaced, JB went to go talk to Dereck as we headed inside to chill Bella said she was tired so we went upstairs to go lay down i remembered that tomorrow was the big day where i had my first appt for the baby, i was thrilled to see what that would bring, shortly after i drifted into a sleep, i heard JB come in and felt him cuddle up with us, this is right where i belonged

Maci's pov

 I woke up to JB yelling all through the house that everyone needed to get up immediately Bella and i groaned and sat up, "really dad" she yelled down to him i just chuckled and picked her up, we made our way downstairs to find a shirtless JB making breakfast i sat Bella down at the table and JB made his way over to me and gave me a kiss all we heard from Bella was "ewww" i chuckled and stuck my tongue out her, JB asked if i was excited about my appt today i smiled and said VERY, we soon finished up breakfast and i got dressed then i got Bella dressed and we walked downstairs with our leggings, hey dudes, and sweatshirts that said "JB FREAKING MOUNEY" on them he smiled and we headed to the car, within 20 minutes we were at the drs office and about to find out everything about the baby, i laid down on the table and the lady squirted that stuff on my stomach and began to look around, soon a little figured popped up on the screen, she goes alright there your baby i looked at JB and smiled big i couldnt believe i had this life growing inside of me. since i didnt know i was pregnant there was really no telling how far along i was but they said that they could tell the gender and asked if i wanted to know

JB's pov

i smiled and said put the gender in and envelope and well let someone plan us a gender revel so as for now no we wouldnt like to know with that the appt was over and the baby was healthy
