Chapter 9- together forever?

Maci's pov

JB i yelled upstairs today was Bella's 7th birthday and i was just getting ready to go pick up her cake i knew JB was tired from working on expanding the ranch this last week after the PBR finals next week JB was retiring so i knew that he was resting up for that poor guy wears himself out, soon he walked downstairs and kissed my forehead and said good morning i looked up at him and smiled and said i'm gonna go get the cake i need to you to watch Bella.  He sighed and said i guess i will watch her even though thats why i hired you, i laughed and punched him on the arm and i said haha so funny i grabbed my truck keys and wallet and walked out. i made it into town and found the nearest Dairy Queen since Bella had requested an ice cream cake i had them put happy birthday Bella on it and i walked out and i bumped into someone on the way out making me drop the cake i looked up and saw Cooper Davis, OMG Maci i'm so sorry here let me pay for another one i feel terrible. i gave a faint smile and said thanks Coop it means a lot its Bella's birthday and she just had to have this cake he chuckled and said it was his son Mack's birthday today to which is why he was here.  We walked back over to the counters and told them what happened and they redo Bella's cake and make one for Mack thanked Cooper and went my separate ways from him it was nice to have a decent conversation with him. I arrived home to see JB and Bella walking out of the barn after doing chores JB took Bella inside and i went to put the cake in the freezer in the garage. I went inside and began to set up for her party it was "princess rodeo" themed thats what Bella called it anyways she wanted princess stuff but PBR at the same time so it was pink stuff everywhere and posters of the bull riders and PBR themed things throughout.  It honestly was a cute them we were roasting a hog for dinner and inviting JB and my while families out for dinner, i shot Cooper a text inviting him to kinda join our parties together and just make it a bash for Mack and Bella after JB it was be alright. I went to help Bella get dressed in her little birthday outfit and i curled her hair, once i was done i told her she looked beautiful and she said "thanks mom, i love you" tears welled up in my eyes as i placed a kiss on her forehead, it made it happy to know that i filled the shoes of her mom and that she accepted me to do so.  I gave her her i pad and i went to get ready half way thru curling my hair i heard JB and I's room door open in walked JB smiling he put his arms around and kissed my forehead and said " i'm so happy that to have you around i love you more than you will ever know" i turned around and said i love you and Bella more than either of you will ever know babe, i resumed back to doing my hair and make up once i was finished i started working food for the party and looked up to see Derek and Jess walking in i greeted them and they went out to help JB i stayed in the kitchen finishing things up...

later at the party

everyone had arrived and it were eating laughing and sharing memories, Bella and Mack and evryone else that brought there kids were all playing it was such a great time its such a good group of people to be surrounded with

JB's pov

i honestly want to and am going to marry this girl the time is coming just not yet Maci is soo good with Bella and it brightens my heart to see them together and to see that maci fills Bella's void for a mother figure, her birthday party went smoothly and i was excited to see that maci let Cooper have Mack here as well it met a lot to see her being sweet to him even if it met faking it a little. After the party was over and everything was all cleaned up we put Bella in bed and walked into the kitchen together i hugged Maci from behind and whispered in her ear "you in that little sundress today had me going crazy" she turned around and smiled at me, how crazy? she asked then i leaned in and her lips met mine the make out got intense as we went up the steps carefully not breaking from the kiss and looking into each others eyes. She stopped and looked up at me and whispered a loved me we begin the kiss back up and and we started to undress she laid down and said JB im ready we had been taking things slower whenever it came to sex like yes we have had it before but it wasn't a common thing for us it was special when we did because she  cared and she showed it.  i started kissing down from her lips and unhooked her bra and threw it aside i kissed down until i got to her panties i felt her breath hitches as i ripped them off and threw them aside to i was going to make this moment special for us.
