on the hunt

JB's pov

it had been one week since Lexi took Bella the police were doing everything they could to look for her, Maci was still barley leaving the bed room she was depressed over the whole thing i mean there isnt anything she could do though. I was looking day and night for her as well that was my baby girl and i love and miss her sweet face.  I walked downstairs to see lexi and Bella sitting at the counter i ran over to Bella and grabbed her into my arms Lexi held a gun up to my head and said put her down and sit down while you are at it to.  i set her down and walked over to the couch.

Lexi's pov

Well well well if it isn't Mr, JB Mauney, wheres your little hoe Maci at i questioned JB rolled his eyes and said "none of your business" i slapped him across the face for that one, listen here this is all you have to do JB break off the marriage with Maci kick her out and let me move back in and we can be back together how we used to be.

JB's pov

 All of the sudden i see Maci sneak into the kitchen and she looks at me with sadness in her eyes Lexi was faced with her back to Maci so she could not see her, first she grabbed Bella and locked her in the pantry so Lexi would not be able to take her again then she grabbed a lamp and hit Lexi in the head with it knocking her out cold, i got up and sprinted for my phone to call 911. as the police arrived Lexi woke up and was put into cuffs an we were sent to the police station to write a report of what happened and answer some questions. They even questioned Bella since she was there for it all, after two long hours we were finally done and sent home. Maci would nto leave Bella's side through it all i could tell they truly had a strong bond and it was so cute to see them like that. once we got home she put Bella to bed and soon after came and go in bed with me all snuggled up beside me i feel safe here with you with our family here in this house. this is home and this is where i'm supposed to be she said. 

Maci's pov

it was currently 5 in the morning and i was sitting in the bathroom throwing up everywhere, JB soon came into the bathroom after about 5 minutes "hey babe are you ok" i gave him a faint smile and said yeah i think i just got food posining from the resturant the other night no big deal he gave me a quick kiss on the forehead and said that could be and he went back to lay down i got up and ran a nice soothing bath hopefully to make me feel less miserable. After about an hour i got up and threw on some old cloths as JB was still asleep i figured i could go start chores Dereck had just pulled in to do his half of chores so i guess i'll assist him today, i walked down to the barn and started to gather up the feed as Dereck was gettin the water buckets filled "hey Dereck" i said as i walked in trying not to scare the shit out of him he looked up and smiled sayin " what is JB still sleeping and sent you out to help today" i laughed and said " i figured the baby could use some more sleep plus i was up and bored" he laughed and we started to feed and water the animals and soon were done it was now about 830 so i headed out to get some breakfast for me and the fam, i arrived home to find JB and Bella all cuddled up in bed still sleeping so i snapped a quick pic and smiled looking at them they were my life my family and my heart, but i got breakfast and its nearly 10 they can get up sooo i started to yell "BREAKFAST TIME OH BREAKFAST TIME" they both shot up and followed me downstairs and ate thanking me for getting them breakfast i smiled at them and said no prob , today i had planned on going wedding dress shopping with my mom JB's mom my brother Bella and my best friend from high school Jesse i just wanted something simple because i didn't like to be extra. Jb went to go put on his chore boots and i stopped him and said chores are already done so sit down he laughed and said and this is why i keep you around. i rolled my eyes and got ready for today soon everyone met at the house and we left to head to the dress shop i was super excited to see all the options and dresses, i tried on about 7 and couldn't really find any i liked so we moved on to a different store i walked right in and saw the one i fell in love with i tried it on and didn't want to take it off it was like love at first sight, in three short months i will be Maci Mauney
