CHAPTER 12:Light Music Club

Y/N POV

When I came first here, I don't have anyone I know. I have gloomy face and everyone seems avoiding me. I don't talk much or do much that will gave me attention. I don't want to caught their attention in the first place. I always walk on the hallway with my earphones plugged in. I don't want to hear unnecessary things about me. And usually I ate lunch outside the cafeteria. Sometimes at the yard or rooftop.

One day, when I'm having a lunch at the rooftop as I listen to music. I unintentionally sang along with it. Well since I'm the only here that's what I thought. When a someone suddenly appears infront of me. As I look at the image, he's smiling from ear to ear.

"Do you want to join our club?" He suddenly asked me. He's kinda tall and having a face that is approachable. His quite have a flawless skin, red hair with  a soft red color eyes, well I bet he's popular at the school. Well, I don't even know because I don't really care about my surroundings.

"I don't" I simply said as I'm ready to walk away.

"You sing really well. We need you" He immediately said but I just ignored him as I walk down. He followed me even in my classroom. As my classmates keeps on looking at my direction.

"Kenji-san, why are you here?" One of my classmates asked.

"Well, I'm gonna go back for now. I'll make you come to our club" He said loud and clear for me to hear.

Students are now looking at me when I passes by in the hallway. As he always followed me.

"Y/n-chan!" He called me that made me look at his direction. Well, it's my first time to hear someone called my name. He smiles and immediately walk to my direction.

"Can you spare some time for me after class?" He asked me. I think and think of some possible excuses.

"Don't make excuses. I'll wait for you" He said and walks away.

I went to my classroom and still thinking what he wants from me. I already said I don't want to join their club. What club are they anyway?

As soon the class finished, I quickly packed my things to run from him. But as soon I went out of my classroom. There he is.

"Yo!" He greets me and smiles brightly.

"Fine" I said and he immediately dragged me at the third floor where their club is.

"Everyone, we have a new member" He immediately announced.

"W-wait I didn't say I'll join" I immediately reacted.

"But you said you can spare some time after your class" He said.

"Kenji, don't dragged someone here unwillingly" One of them said.

"But, I told you guys this before. The girl I heard on the rooftop that have a beautiful voice" He explained. Their reaction immediately widen opens.

"Huh?" They all said in sync.

"I heard your voice" one of them said.

"H-how?" I asked them.

"Kenji recorded it" the tall guy said.

"Huh? You record it?" I asked him.

"Y-yeah" he said. They are noisy and chaotic. Question here and there.

"Enough" I said and they immediately shut their mouths.

"Please join our band" they all said.

"Okay okay" I said out of nowhere.

"N-no. It's not that--" I said all flustered.

"Did you record it Takuya?" Kenji asked the tall guy.

"Yes yes" Takuya said.

"You can't go back to your words" Kenji said.

"Ah~ okay okay" I said. I didn't planned on joining clubs anyway. But they seems look happy and I can't ignored it.

"Well, guys introduce yourself. I'll start with myself" Kenji said.

"I'm Kenji Takeshi. 2nd year, vocalist and guitarist of the band"

"I'm Hiro Shotoru. 2nd year, keyboardist" the guy with a black hair, with a golden eyes and having a eyeglasses said. He seems prettt fine.

"I'm Takuya Kakeru. 2nd year, the bassist" the tall guy said. He has a brown curly hair and green eyes. Wow.

"Kenzo Masashi. 2nd year, drummer" the badass looking guy with a piercing. He has a black hair with a dark blue eyes. It's cold and deep.

"I'm y/n, L/n. 1st year" I introduced.

"Nice to meet you y/n-chan" Hiro-san said.

"N-nice to meet you all" I said.

"Wanna hear us play?" Kenji-san asked. And I just nodded. They prepare the instruments and ready to go.

"1, 2, 3"

I listen to them playing although it's not thst I great if I be honest but they sparkling when they play that caught me off guard.

"How was it?" Kenji-san asked me as they finished playing. All eyes are on me.

"To be honest---" I said as I stopped in the middle. They look nervous though.

"It's not that great" I said and they look well uhm down? I think.

"But--- I think you still can improved. Although it's not that great like the professionals did. But, I saw how you all shines when you play together. It's important to enjoy music when playing to the people who is important to you. Who you value in your life. And to the people who you are with through thick and thin" I explained. That's what my father said when they play along with his bandmates.

"Even though your alone, music connects you to others. Music makes you enter to a new world where you can understand yourself and the others. And I can feel how kusic is important to everyone of you. So if we can practice even more I know we can make it" I said and as I look at them they all surprised.

"W-what?" I asked them.

"Did you say we?" Kenji-san asked. And I just nodded. They looked happy.

"Thank you. Let's go working on our songs in the future" Takuya-san said.

"Then, I should train you hard enough" I jokingly said.

"By the way, what instruments can you play?" Hiro-san asked.

"W-well, I can play piano, drums, guitar, bass guitar, flute, violin and hmm" I said. They all looked surprised.

"Kenji, you found a precious gem" Kenzo-san said.

"So, please stay with us through thick and thin?" Kenji-san said as he smiles at me. I gladly accepts them in an open arms.

"Wow, that was like yesterday when I joined the band. And it's painful to think we have to disband. But still-" I said as my eyes starts to cry. Why am I a crybaby? I'll pursue them to not go disband. I still can't leave this family. Even though we could be busy in the future, I still want this family of mine to stay through thick and thin. Oh gosh I'm really crying as I look inside of the clubroom. It feels empty.
