CHAPTER 32: Light up my world!

KENMA'S POV

I got to the hospital and waited for Kuroo and for her senpais to appear. Her manager/father walks out of the room and greets us. We walked inside and welcomed us with a smile.

"How are you?" We asked as if we practiced it outside. She chuckles and nods at us.

"You have a joint practice right?" She asked me and the guys gave way for me to get closer to her.

"Yeah but the coach gave me a break today," I said and smiled at her. I hold her right hand and she holds it tighter.

"We bought fruits. What else do you want or need?" Kenji-senpai asked.

"Nothing. Thank you" she said. And we have a little conversation to make the atmosphere more lively.

A few hours have passed the others need to go back.

"Message us when you need anything, okay?" Kenji-senpai said.

"Don't hesitate to contact us" Kuroo said.

"Yeah we're here for you," Hiro-senpai said.

"Call us," Takuya and Kenzo both said.

"You!" They said while facing each other like starting an argument. She chuckles and they all say goodbyes and leave. I stayed for a while.

When they left the room she hugged me tight.

"What's wrong?" I asked her. She just shakes her head.

"Can we stay like this for a while?" She asked me. I place my hands on her back and hug her tight.

"Can you tell me what the doctor said?" I asked her.

"It takes months to take out the cast and a year to fully recover. For the time being, playing instruments is restricted" she said in a low-tone voice.

"I know you love music. For now, love yourself more. Music is everywhere, even if you're not allowed to play the instruments, listen to the sounds of your surroundings. Isn't it music too?" I said. She chuckles as she lifts her head. She smiles at me. I kissed her forehead.

"Thank you," she said. I sighed in relief.

I wish I could spend more time with you here but I need to return to practice.

"When are you going back to the practice?" She asked me as she looks at my way.

"I have to go back tomorrow," I said.

"Oh. Are you going to go home today?" She asked me.

"I want to spend more time with you though," I said as I held her hand.

I spent a few hours but still need to return to the practice.

"I really wanted to stay but I can't" I stated.

"It's okay I understand," She said as she smiled. That sweet smile of hers is a good souvenir.

Y/N POV

As he held me in his arms, I felt relieved and I calmed down. He's right music is everywhere. I can still make music. In that, I fell asleep in his arms. A few minutes passed,  I woke and it seemed he fell asleep too. As I keep staring at his face I can see how beautiful of a human being Kenma is. I'm grateful for this.

Time moved past as he needed to return to the joint practice. He bid his farewell.

After three days of confinement, I returned home.

"Are you sure you're okay being alone?" My father asked. I just nodded and smiled at him. I know all of them are worried about me but I know I can. Being independent might be good for me.

As soon as I went inside the house, Kenma's face immediately flashed back. And an idea came up. I went inside the studio and immediately turned on all of the equipment.

"You light up my world and gave it a smile

You are everything to me I couldn't asked for more

You are here lighting up my world! "
