I was born a long way from home, a long way from where I belong,
never felt a feeling of warmth, comfort, safety
always on the run searching for a place, a place to call home
I was searching for something I didn't know, blindly searching
wandering for a feel I longed for
I never knew what a home was, how it felt
but then I met you, you sheltered me under your wings,
I felt it, the feeling of warmth, comfort, and safety
my home wasn't a place, it was a personit was him, and I'll never let him go, my home, my heart
