"She made the authority her bitch." Eric said with a smirk on his face.
"That she did, my child." Godric replied with a twitch of a smile at the corner of his mouth.
"Who are you talking about and what's the authority?" Sookie asked confused from her seat beside Bill.
The four of them were currently sitting in Eric's office in Fangtasia.
"The Vampire Authority is a group of eight of the most politically powerful vampires in existence." replied Bill.
"And the she we are speaking about is Y/N, my mate." Godric replied calmly as he looked at Sookie.
"Ohhhh. I didn't know you had a mate, Godric." Sookie said innocently.
"That's because it is his private business. Plus, Y/N should be here soon." Eric said as he took his feet off his desk and sat up straight.
And as if right on que, there was a knock on the office door.
"Come in." Eric said as he immediately stood up.
You opened the door to Eric's office and your eyes immediately landed on Godric, the amazing man you are bound to for life.
"Hi, sweetheart." you smiled and made your way towards him.
"Hello, my love." Godric replied softly, one of his hands coming up to your cheek to pull you in for a sweet kiss.
Unfortunately, it was over too soon, and there was an audience in the room.
Pulling away from Godric, with a smile, you turned to Eric. Eric bowed to you respectfully, as did Sookie and Bill.
"Eric!" you let out happily as you pulled the Viking Vampire into a hug, that he practically squished you in.
"Long time no see." he said with a smile of his own as he set you down. You smiled at him and placed a friendly, almost motherly kiss, to his forehead.
You turned towards Bill and Sookie and stuck your hand out politely for them to shake. "I'm Y/N." you said and they both shook your hand and introduced themselves.
You returned to Godric's side and sat with him on the couch opposite of Sookie and Bill. Godric's hand slipped into yours and interlaced your fingers with his. You smiled softly and looked up at him, to see he was already looking at you. Leaning up, you pecked his lips and then turned to Eric, to see he was looking at the two of you with a small smile.
"It's good to have you back, Y/N." Eric admitted honestly.
"Thank you. It's good to be back." you replied as you cuddled into Godric's side as Eric began to talk about what the new "mission" was.
