"Lorena Marie Krasiki!" you shouted with authority as the vampires in front of you parted to make you a path. "I know you did not just break Vampire Law in front of a member of the Authority."

In the center of the room was Sheriff Godric, who had Lorena by the throat, telling her to retract her fangs. And rightly so, she had been picking on a human, well, Fae, named Sookie Stackhouse.

"Y/N." Godric acknowledged politely as he bowed his head to you out of respect, after releasing Lorena. You did the same to him and then looked at Lorena.

"I'm sorry for the intrusion Sheriff, but we've been after Lorena for quite some time now. When we found out she was here, we couldn't pass up the opportunity." you stated.

"What is this about?" Godric asked calmly. No need to provoke anything that wasn't necessary.

The two bodyguard vampires that stood on either side of you remained standing in their spots as if they were the secret service, as you walked down a few steps to where Godric and Lorena were.

"We have a warrant for Lorena's arrest." you replied.

Godric simply nodded his head and glanced at Lorena.

"No," Lorena started as she stood up and began backing away. "No, I'm not going!"

You turned to her, your face stone cold. "This can go one of two ways. The easy way, where you come willingly. Or the hard way, where I use whatever means necessary to take you."

Lorena's eyes widened at that statement and she tried to book it to a door, but you were faster than her. You shot your right hand out, a thin silver chain flying forward and wrapping itself around Lorena's neck. Your black leather gloves were thick enough to ensure that the silver wouldn't affect you.

She fell to the floor gasping in pain, yet no one in the crowd moved an inch; they feared what would happen if they did.

"Silver...against your own kind?" Lorena rasped. "You are crazy."

"I told you by any means necessary. Raz," you called over your shoulder to your tan vampire bodyguard, "Take her to the van."

Raz nodded and stood Lorena up and walked her outside without another word.

You made your way back up to where you had been standing in the beginning of this mission, standing beside your other vampire bodyguard,  Marcel.

Just as you were about to open your mouth to apologize to Godric, Marcel put his notepad in front of you to read. He was mute, and no one knew why his vampire powers didn't fix that.

You quickly scanned the paper and then you looked up, anger flashing in your eyes. You scanned the crowd one by one, but you didn't need to. There were few heartbeats at the party and the only one beating out of control was of a male in the back of the room.

"You!" you shouted with authority, motioning for him to come forward. "Step forward."

The human male did as told and you walked towards him.

You began circling him, sniffing, like a predator around its prey. "Hmmm, you're right Marcel. It is him."

That did not sound good in Godric's ears. He frowned. "What is going on?"

"Tell them what you did." you whispered to the human. "He deserves to know."

The man stood there stock-still but his heart was pounding.

"Now, I know to be in this nest you must have to be trustworthy and have learned all the rules." you said as you slowly circled around him. "Godric would not have let you in if you weren't."

You stood directly in front of him, face to face. "Who do you belong to?" you questioned.

"Me." a female voice rang out from your left. You glanced over to see a tan, Spanish woman; Isabel. You nodded and then leaned into the mans ear.

"Tell them, or I will." you threatened.

"What is the meaning of this?" Godric almost commanded.

You leaned back and looked directly into the humans eyes but spoke back to Godric.

"Sheriff, are you aware of a rat within your nest?" you asked and there were a few gasps around the room.

Godric frowned once more.

"I thought not." you said without looking at him.

"Isabel's human here....is the traitor. He is the reason you were kidnapped and almost killed, Sheriff. He's the reason for the bomb at your home." by this point the man in front of you was quaking in his boots.

"Isabel," the human called, "Please. You know this isn't true." he begged, but she took a step back into the crowd. She knew better than to anger you.

You weren't called the Vampire Hunter for nothing.

Not to mention, everyone in the room knew he was lying.

There was a gasp from behind you and you turned around to see the Fae, Sookie, with a look of pure terror on her face and a male vampire holding her.

"Oh my God..." she breathed shakily. "It was him."

There were several gasps around the crowd and murmurs, but you paid no mind to them.

"I just wanted to be turned! If Godric was gone than Isabel would be in charge and she'd turn me!" the human male shouted as he pulled a stake out of his jacket pocket and lunged for Godric.

But you were faster than him, and stronger too- you were a vampire after all.

You quickly tripped his leg and pulled the arm that held the stake behind his back as he hit the cold marble floor, not even a second later, you were sitting/kneeling on top of him.

Everyone just stood there with wide eyes, not being able to comprehend the scene that just played out.

"Sheriff, I am taking this human into custody, and it won't be pretty for him. And as for Isabel, with your permission, I would like to ask her a few questions." you said as you looked up at Godric who stood a few feet in front of you.

Godric simply nodded and you sat up, pulling the human with you.

"Now, I know you're probably not all too familiar with Vampire Law, but I am, and I can tell you it's not going to be sunshine and rainbows for you." you said in his ear.

"The Authority might have given you a lesser sentence or punishment had you just not tried to kill your Sheriff, in front of plenty of witnesses." you shook your head.

"But now, you won't be making it out of this alive. You will be meeting the true death." you finished as you tightened your grip on his arms that were behind his back.

"Don't I get a lawyer?" the human asked.

You let out a loud laugh. "No. This is Vampire Law. Human Law doesn't apply to you here. You better say goodbye now."

But before he could say anything, you walked him to Marcel, who knocked him out, and then flipped him over his shoulder, going to meet Raz outside with Lorena.

You turned to the room and your eyes landed on Godric.

"Sheriff, I'm deeply sorry about the events that occurred here tonight, and the previous ones as well. Had we known sooner, I would have come sooner." you said with a pang of sadness. Godric was almost killed, by someone within his own nest. You wouldn't be surprised if he backed down from office now, but you doubted it. This was Godric you were talking about, one of the oldest, strongest, and most wise vampires to exist. He wasn't going anywhere.

"Thank you, Y/N." Godric replied calmly.

You nodded your head, glanced at the rest of the room, and then walked out, hoping to never repeat the events that just unfolded, again.
