Chapter 67

The days passed by with Sidneet getting attached to Sana quickly. Sid was supposed to become a brother to Sana, but now he might consider her as his daughter and Avu, who was supposed to be her sister in law, is now her mother. Here, Avu's parents were very confused about Sana, but didn't say anything as they love her a lot and don't want to put pressure on Avu. Vaishvik was a healthy baby, loved by everyone, the youngest one. Sid and Vibha wanted to spoil him, and Abhinavi were new to all this, but were coping well with everything. But Avu would sometimes get very moody. It wasn't only about taking care of Sana and the death of Adam, but her falling in love with Sid again, flashbacks of her past which would create a bad headache and lack of support. She didn't complain about everything going on, but required someone to give her the support, which she was trying her best to give others. Ash would be busy with her shoots, and others also had their own work and problems, so she didn't want to trouble them. 

Avu's POV: 

I came out after a shower to see Sana rolling on the bed, with pillows thrown to the ground. She is five months old now, and can't stay calm for few seconds. And of course, she had got her hair colour from Adam. I went to her and picked her up. 

Avu: Meri angel, phirse takye gira diye. [My angel, again dropped the pillows.]

She giggled as a beautiful smile formed on my face. I kissed her forehead before calling mom. 

Sonia: Hello. 

Avu: Hello mom. 

Sonia: Avu, kaisi hai tu? [Avu, how are you?]

Avu: Mai achi hu mummy. Aap kaise ho? [I am good mom. How are you?]

I went to the kitchen, preparing Sana's food. 

Sonia: Mai achi hu beta. Le tere papa se baat kar karle, phir office ke liye nikal jayege. [I am good. Talk to your father, then he'll leave for office.]

 Aman: Hello Avu. 

Avu: Hello papa. Papa, aap aaj kal zyada baat hi nahi karte ho. [Hello dad. Dad, you don't talk to me much.]

Aman: Tu phone karti hai tab mai office mein hota hu, aur tu kayi baar busy rehti hai. [When you call I am in office and you are usually busy.]

Avu: Hmm. 

Sana started trying to pull the phone from my hand. 

Avu: Sana, chodo. [Sana, leave.]

I tried removing the phone. Once she finally left it, I kept the phone on counter, putting it on speaker. 

Avu: Ha, ab bolo. [Yes, now say.]

Aman: Kya hua achanak? [What happened suddenly?]

Avu: Kuch nahi, Sana phone kheech rahi thi. [Nothing, Sana was pulling the phone.]

Suddenly the bell rang. 

Avu: Lagta hai baad mein hi baat karni hogi. [I think we'll have to talk later only.]

Aman: Hmm. Mujhe bhi nikalna hai. Bye beta. [Hmm. Even I have to go. Bye.]

Avu: Bye. 

I cut the call before going to open the door. Can't they let me talk also peacefully. I opened to see it was Sid. I smiled at him, inviting him in. 

Sid: Hello Avu, hello meri gudiya. 

Avu: Hi. 

I said while Sana made grabby hands towards him. 

Avu: Tum yaha, kuch kaam tha? [You here, you had some work?]

Sid: Nahi, mai khali tum dono se milne aaya tha abhi free tha isliye. [No, I was free so came to meet you both.]

Avu: Aur kuch kaam nahi hai kya, mujhe bhi free rehne diya karo thodi der. [Don't you have any other work, let me also be free for sometime.]

Realization hit me, and my eyes widened. 

Avu: Sorry, wo ghusse mein thi thoda, toh tumpe nikal gaya. [Sorry, my anger came out on you.]

Sid: Avu, sab thik toh hai na? Ghussa kyu thi? [Avu, is everything ok? Why were you angry?]

Avu: Kuch nahi, itna sab ek sath ho raha hai, aur ikdam naya hai toh. Upar se itna sar dard rehta hai un fla... [Nothing, just that so many things are happening together, and it's all new that's why. And I even have so much pain due to those fla...]

I stopped, no one knows about the flashbacks. 

Sid: Flashbacks? 

Avu: Ha, unki wajah se sar dard karne lagta hai. [Yes, due to those I have headache.]

Sid: Tum thodi der rest karlo, tumhari angel ke paas mai hu abhi. Haina meri gudiya? [You rest for sometime, your angel is with me. Right my doll?]

Sana smiled at him. I was about to go when something stopped me in my tracks.

Sana: M..ma..ma..maa maa maa.

She tried slowly at first, and started repeating it once she got it right, as she clapped. My eyes filled with happy tears, I turned around as she repeated few more times before stopping. I was picked her up, and the next thing left me confused on how to react, but at the same time shocked.
